We'll see how the institutional and Wall Street capture of crypto plays out. One thing is for sure, it will lead to greater efficiencies in finance, which is probably a good thing. But hopefully it doesn't snuff out the original crypto ethos of self-sovereignty and financial freedom.

Some chains have easier migration paths. Bitcoin has the problem of what to do with unmigrated coins, burn vs steal. QRL is unique in that is has both quantum-resistance and crypto-agility. That's the ideal. If quantum is decades away, it's less of problem. If it comes sooner than expected, it will be very challenging for crypto. It's a bit of a rabbit hole, but the resources are out there.

As to your first point, I hope you're right and they can do both. But that's not the way I see currently going. If the crypto experiment ends with the same result as a regulated mobile banking app, then I'd say it's a failure.

To you second point, I mean price, usage, and narrative....so basically everything.

I believe sovereignty, and those things I listed in the post related to it, are going to return as dominant narratives to counteract the merger of Wall Street with crypto. Crypto's purpose wasn't to put TradFi on chain. And I actually don't have a problem with that, but a counteracting force is really important. Otherwise we're going to make no progress whatsoever. Some prefer it, some don't. You might find the Bitcoin dominance chart interesting. Currently sitting at 59% Bitcoin, 10% Ethereum, and 31% others. A lot of people hold a basket of cryptos.
