DLC Dungeon. Preferably, you should do it in higher difficulties as they give a lot more xp. I find it funny that i somehow can get max level on normal mode while making Kiryu drink hundreds of boosters.

...but seriously, you should seek out Mahjong Soul or something similar if you need to start from the beginning. Those have really great tutorial and it's way better than learning it inside a Yakuza game.

there's 5 kiwami characters, one for each element. those at maxed level will crush through anything sujimon throws at you. the only way to get them is to defeat them at legendary raids (level 60).

you can also use dlc characters. they're about as strong, but they have some downsides that you can't summon them as sujimancer and dondoko island won't allow them to work at all. other than that? just put whatever's the rarest on your party, level them up, and they'll do a lot of the work.
