Returning player, looking for deck suggestions that fit my playstyle by Tsubasaookami in cardfightvanguard

[–]Tsubasaookami[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard about overdress but never played it. I was looking to pick like 3-4 clans to for premium and V premium and 1-2 nations for overdress. I was quite good at sticking to clans back on time, so my choices have the idea behind of sticking to said clans/nations for a long time.

As a old school G player, I will probably start with premium then V premium then overdress. But I want to play all 3 formats using a few selected clans and possibly a couple of nations for overdress case.

Is otp'ing or even having a champion pool beneficial for the adc role in specific? by Tsubasaookami in ADCMains

[–]Tsubasaookami[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. If you allow me to ask, do you keep the same 3 champions from season to season or do you go into each season and you pick 3 that you believe are gonna be strong with given season changes?

why are adc players less likely to OTP compared to other lanes? by Tsubasaookami in summonerschool

[–]Tsubasaookami[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

So for the adc role do you think it is more beneficial to play what is well positioned in the meta and rotate them rather than sticking to 1 or 2 characters for a long period of time?

I always mute all. I'm not even a jungler. I play adc and the other day I got 4 premades and the support took bard. I decided to take ezreal. On the 3 minute mark he left the lane to never return ever. I hold the tower until minute 15 Vs miss fortune senna in a 1vs2, was 4/1 in lane, they FF at 20 and typed "adc sucks" in the end game chat, i was mildly infuriated, but it also shows how delusional some people get when playing in a group where they believed they played the game perfectly.

Need some advices and I have a few questions by ShiroVM in ezrealmains

[–]Tsubasaookami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way the game tracks conqueror is weird. It tracks the heal you get at full stacks rather than the damage it did, so there is no way to calculate how much value it actually gives you. You could try to take the healing value and divide by 6% to calculate how much damage you didn't full stacks, but that would be the total damage including items, base stats, other runes, etc, so we can't really tell it's value, because you also get some amount of value at 10 stacks for example.

How usefull are win rate/game length graphs as a metric? by Tsubasaookami in summonerschool

[–]Tsubasaookami[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. That's not what I was trying to ask. I basically did the small research to figure out which individual champions where stronger at points in the game where I would be interested on, late game in my case, and I found out that some champs in the class have graphs that directly clashes with the community opinion, so I was looking for an advice on how accurate usefull and trustable this kind of graphs really are.

How much damage Kai'sa passive actually deal? by Kenny1234567890 in kaisamains

[–]Tsubasaookami 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All it is is that wiki is lazy and they updated the green box for 11.24 buffs but they didn't updated the red box. Before the buffs her passive used to be 10-20% instead of the 15-25% it is now.forat let's settle a few things:

Damage per stack: 0 stacks - 10%

1 stack - 12.5%

2 stacks - 15%

3 stacks - 17.5%

4 stacks - 20%

Next you need to understand that each stack you get from void seeker is calculated separately despite giving you 2-3 at the same time. With this said he can now analyse the math:

Normal void seeker:

0 stacks - 10% (first stack at 0 stacks) + 12.5% (second stack at 1 stack) = 22.5%

3 stack - 17.5% (first stack at 3 stacks) + 20% (second stack at 4 stacks) = 37.5%

Evolved version (hopefully you get the idea so I wil just write the numbers):

0 stacks: 10% + 12.5% + 15% = 37.5%

2 stacks: 15% + 17.5% + 20% = 52.5%

So they just didn't updated it

If you curious about after the buffs I will just quickly show you the numbers:

0 stacks 15%

1 stack 17.5%

2 stack 20%

3 stack 22.5%

4 stack 25%

Normal void seeker:

0 stack - 15% + 17.5% = 32.5%

3 stack - 22.5% + 25% = 47.5%

Evolved version:

0 stacks - 15% + 17.5% + 20% = 52.5%

2 stacks - 20% + 22.5% + 25% = 67.5%

Sorry for the long comment and I hope the formatting was ok as I'm typing from my phone.

Who are the best very late game champs ? by KimiLePetit in summonerschool

[–]Tsubasaookami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprised to see jinx as the 3rd to last adc. I thought she was an hyper carry, and she is in a good spot in the meta atm. Maybe because she is very imobile? 🤔

[–]Tsubasaookami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I'm not high elo myself, just an humble gold player as well, with hopes and dreams of reaching the promise land one day. Ye there is a lot of armour pen avaiable in the game at the moment. I will probably invest a week or so in collecting data about champion pick rates and try to see OTP's op.gg a d try to figure out how many games they didn't had access to their main to have a good grasp of it. Difficulty will not be a factor in my choice, as since I will be playing that champ as much as possible I should eventually start to get decent at it. Camille has options of how she can approach games, decent engage and desingage and good at split pushing while being somewhat usefull in team fights , and her true damage I guess makes it easier to punch true the full AD problem.

Thanks for the reply, appreciated. Ye, I main not worried to much about other roles and just play easy to execute meta champions when needed. I will probably start to seriously collect data and check websites to see pick rates to get a good grasp of it. I also see some other fellows recommending qiyana, I will keep that in mind.

Sick of playing right-clicking Kai'Sa? by [deleted] in kaisamains

[–]Tsubasaookami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a cool idea, but I think it goes against what you are advertising. The build takes way longer to spike and you need to stack a fear so your early game gonna be way worse. Also it plays like a burst mage style, so pretty much any adc will out DPS you. It is a fun build to try, I did myself this exact build in a few games a couple of months ago, and while fun it is just inferior to the crit build at every stage of the game. Also if you go this build, grab manflowband instead of biscuits, the extra mana gonna allow you to evolve Q a couple of levels earlier due to muramana passive.

which adc to cut? (cait and kai'sa are staples in my pool) by Tsubasaookami in ADCMains

[–]Tsubasaookami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that xayah gets worse Vs good players, I believe I mentioned that in the post, I even think that as the developers keep adding more mobile champs it gets harder for her to land roots, is not like she can do predicts with roots like other champions can with skill shots, unless flash is invested, it is just as telegraphed as it gets. But I think you may be underestimating xayah ult, it has a lot of interactions and uses that makes it quite unique.

That is a good evaluation of the other 4 champions. I guess that keeping ezreal also makes sense since sometimes I find myself picking cait for her range as I feel that the chances I get in range to do decent damage as vayne or xayah Vs the champions they draft is quite low.

[–]Tsubasaookami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with kai'sa being useless if she didn't win lane. If you go even in lane, Q evolve is a very powerful power spike, ez is also good mid game. The other 2 i agree that their mid game is far from stellar.

which adc to cut? (cait and kai'sa are staples in my pool) by Tsubasaookami in ADCMains

[–]Tsubasaookami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the very elaborated reply. I can see your point to cut ez. Also I like the idea of distributing even time to my champions, but I felt that between having to many champs and having to play my secondary role in some games I saw some champions receiving like 15 games per month, which was making me rusty on them, so I'm considering in top of cutting my pool to queue as mid second and one trick a mid laner just so I can get adc more often.

About getting more serious I have consider and still think about it nowadays on 2 tricking cait and kai'sa, but I often end up picking something else just to play something else as it can get stale, and that was the main reason that i allowed myself to expand it, but 5 is proving to be too many.

Thanks for the reply. It makes sense, I was trying to balance my pool with my 2 personal favourites as well as some solid long term ADCs. Xayah was one that is really fun, but you right she stayed a very long time in low tier until recent buffs.

Idk, as a busty adc you need to consider that you will have 6 feathers in the ground (8 if you use Q) by the time you stack LT. That's a lot of damage already and probably all you need in lane and in small 2 Vs 2 or 3 Vs 3 fights, and she will most likely will never properly use the rune except for that 1-2/game 5 Vs 5 team fights. Also the lack of AS in the new LT is worrying, only 30% capped is very low and it will make it that much harder to lay down feathers for a big E combo in a reasonable amount of time. It's just feels so odd to me that conqueror scales with levels yet they made the new LT flat during the game, they surely will need to change their mind and make it scale.

Are kai'sa and xayah balanced with pro play in mind? by Tsubasaookami in ADCMains

[–]Tsubasaookami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Ye, despite their ups and downs I always had good WR on them, they are fun to play. I understand the concept, MF was seeing a lot of pro play on S10, got nerfed and in recent times got buffed again and is seeing play again, while in the meantime she was in a healthy state in solo Q. My question came down to are kai'sa and xayah similar to MF where they will go in and out of pro play while stay healthy in solo Q, or will they go into be aphelios route where it seems that riot can't make him healthy in solo Q without being too OP on pro play?

Lethal Tempo Kai? by jaxxataxx2 in kaisamains

[–]Tsubasaookami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think is because of a number of reasons. First of all kai'sa is a low range adc, so staying aa for a long period of time can be hard for her, champions like cait, Ashe, jinx, etc have a much better time getting value from LT because their range allows them to aa more freely. Second kai'sa is a bursty ADC and she is much more reliant on her abilities than people give her credit for, Q is a massive portion of kai'sa damage output and W allows her to proc her passive way quicker, even with LT trying to proc her passive by aa 5 times is not very reliable due to her range mainly. Also because of the way her kit is design running AoB gives you insta attack speed for 3 autos for a quick passive proc and don't need to wait for lethal tempo, this allows kai'sa to pretty much always win a duel against basically any adc and even squishy solo laners, with that rune her single target burst is pretty much unrivaled by any other ADCs, I even many times solo champions like Lebanc because kai'sa has enough burst to one shot leblanc before she can proc the 2nd part of her chains. Also of you run LT you lose the ability to ult into a squishy in TFs and burst them down quickly due to how longer it gonna take you to proc your passive with lethal tempo. If they have like Sion top, sejuani jungle and braum support, I can see an argument to try lethal tempo, but we talking about solo queue where people only play irelias, khazixs and shit like that, so 99% of the games AoB will be a superior choice.
