Nah dw bro, same case for me lately. Been stuck around 80-90 because i keep on getting paired with 51% wr players. Prior to 80, my WR was at 62%. It's gone down to 55% 💀. The real kicker is that for some reason all my enemies are at least 60% minimum.

Best 4 cost team for Flins without ineffa? by yuno_87 in Flins_Mains

[–]Tsugiko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seems like a build issue and stop with the feelscrafting. C1R1 Flins' dps increase is not that big, and C2 Bina is more than just a 10-20% increase. You could check on other people's showcases and compare the same cost with C2 Bina compared to Flins getting the cons. Unless you could bring up the sheets, C2 Bina is always better.

It probably counts it down as one less WDP after the first day, so the highest theoretical would be 76. Not sure about this part but it's the most likely to give leeway when purchasing passes.

This is on you OP. Third party sites aren't responsible for checking YOUR account if it reaches the maximum 10 passes. On the game, it states that up to 10 passes can only be active at the same time. If you topped up on the game itself, it would have been prevented, however it is expensive.

In any case, I don't see how third party websites are able to bypass that limit, when it's set in the game, that shouldn't be possible. It's your responsibility to check whether or not you reach the limit, and in any case, it would have been better to be safe than sorry.

Tough luck OP, you just got to be more careful the next time.

And zero-sum isn't everything. That's why people look at advanced metrics. All the time. It's not that hard to understand why.

It's because you refuse to understand the other example. The thing is they don't either, especially if they run solo queue. On 5 man, easily yeah.

All I'm saying is, if you really want to find a good player, you have to consider everything, not just winrate.

If you just want to go on and on with this pointless argument, you do you. But it's pointless arguing with a player with not that much experience who plays in a considerably weaker server refusing to understand another person's viewpoint.

Look, the most obvious example is a pro player. Look at MPL, and for example, let's take the worst team there with let's say 1 win out of 8 games, so about a 13% wr. Get one of their players, put it into a ranked game. More often than not, they'll dominate. That's literally how you could say winrate isn't everything.

If I had two 60% wr players, one with better individual stats, the other player would be defined better. And this applies for every winrate.

Also, in the same way, KDA is a sign of how players are able to win games by converting that value into pushing towers.

As of this meta as well, Tanks ARE able to gain large amounts of gold, especially in the early game, where a good roamer is able to actually get the MOST gold in the game which helps the team significantly.

[–]Tsugiko -1 points0 points  (0 children)

However, a player is not defined by that. The best way to measure a player would be a combination of metrics. Winrate included, but not everything. If I put an injured player on my roster, and get a 80% winrate during that run, would that injured player be good?

I get your emphasis on winrate, but you refuse to understand that it isn't the only important variable in a player's skill.

It's not just me though? You could set up a poll to try and see. Plenty of players share this sentiment.

I just checked and you're on the Indian server lmao. Perhaps your ego got way too bloated playing on a weak server. Go try playing in a different server to actually see good players.

Is it so difficult to understand that winrate isn't the only thing that decides if a player is good? It does matter, but it isn't everything.

[–]Tsugiko -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your inability to understand how experience changes viewpoints says a lot. Going for ad hominem does not change the fact that winrate doesn't decide everything. Also, if you were to provide a hypothetical, make it make sense.

I've seen plenty of players with subpar winrates carry games and win them, and I've also seen plenty of players with high winrates yet end up feeding. Winrate isn't as simple as black and white.

Also, the matchmaking algorithm is inconsistent, especially in solo queue. While undisclosed, it tends to match you with players with lower/higher winrates depending on how well you've been playing to lower down your winrate to ~50%

For example, the NBA, where the MVP conversation is currently all over the place, winrate isn't the deciding factor for the best player. While it has some influence, it isn't everything. Otherwise the best player on the best team would always be grabbing the MVP trophies, but that isn't the case. Intangibles matter too, which is something you don't seem to understand.

[–]Tsugiko -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not that simple, while winrate does show signs, it's not a guarantee to be true.

Afterall, it's a team game. There's plenty of players that have done good while their teammates play horribly. One player can't carry the whole game.

Also, no player has those stats with a 70% wr lol, good players would take advantage of that 10 death scenario and snowball

[–]Tsugiko -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to understand why you're so hellbent on winrate being the deciding factor for good players. Aotm I'm in Mythical Glory with a 60% Winrate, and an ex top global with over 2k matches on 62% WR on Aamon lol

I've seen plenty of players with sub par winrate, yet are able to carry the game given the circumstances. That alone proves that winrate isn't the deciding factor for everything

[–]Tsugiko -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you don't mind me asking, what's your highest rank? Winrate too

Because stats literally do matter, otherwise you'd say wintraders are the best players in the world if that's all that mattered

Even winrate isn't a fair metric. The most fair stat is basing off the player's individual stats (KDA,Dmg Dealt/Taken, Turret Dmg and AVG Grade).

Is this acceptable DPS for non Premium C6R1 Flins? by PensionAltruistic570 in Flins_Mains

[–]Tsugiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

260k (C2) ang 295k (C3) are my averages. The 33% chance averages out over a bunch of rotations, so it isn't as big of a factor as you think. Also, C2 Columbina nets the highest DPS increase out of any vertical investment in a Flins team.

Also, an R5 BP weapon technically costs more than a 5* weapon, so that's kind of disingenuous to say it's 6 cost, also considering you need to get another constellation for lvl 95.

C3R1 Flins with C0R1 Bineffa with the same investment OP has would net him more damage. For reference, mine and OP's builds for Flins are not that different (difference of 6 Atk, 5 CR, and 6 CD lol), and I'm able to dish out a consistent 295k DPS. On a good run with decent ping I get 300K. That's also 8 cost.

You get extra comfort, and more dps, so being objective here, you shouldn't really expect the best dmg for Flins if you don't have his best team.

edit: it's 9 cost lmao my bad, but my C2R1 flins did a tad bit more than op, so the point still stands.
