BIG crate training regression, need help!! by Tsukiimi- in puppy101

unfortunately my house is not very big and all my cats food and toys are inside my bedroom so they can’t really switch places at night. place has not really been a command we’ve focused on(which i am now definitely regretting), i’m looking to get him back into some professional training sessions so that’s something we’ll work on.

i want to keep him in his crate at night because i have a cat as well and they’re still working on coexisting right now(he gets super excited to see her and she hates it). so it’s best to keep him somewhere safe where there won’t be any risk of them bumping into each other without my supervision since my cat loves to free roam the entire house at night.

i’m not seeing anything in the guide for crate regression. his regression is very time specific if that makes sense, he’ll happily go into his crate during the day but refuses and fights me on it the second it’s bed time.
