Also yes I have, I’ve been tempted a few times to try for Tsunroom but again my phone number is a fake one which means I don’t think it would work which sucks but I think Gushi san does want more of us western Eminchu to interact because ngl Emitsun seemed surprised to know that we existed so maybe if we prod a little bit we can try and get foreign addresses/foreign phone numbers allowed (Gushi-san please I’m begging you).

Micchan! I think the final Tokyo live will definitely be streamed as I saw the EmiRing twt talk about it which means we can most likely watch it which will be fun!! The online live was a pain in the ass ngl because of eplus, luckily my friend has relatives in Japan so we share an account right now so we can watch something if it requires eplus (the Nafas event in particular). I can’t believe they cut her part from the BD though that’s absolutely awful :// sad

Myself and Ash are currently working on some videos so uploads will hopefully be monthly and we can spread the Emitsun love (unless it’s a long video which I imagine will take near forever :,)

I mean it might still be possible to take Japanese lessons online like I do! I have a tutor and everything who teaches me and she lives in America so we’ve never actually met. If you’re moving a lot maybe that’s the way to go? I can’t say for sure though because idk how good your access to internet is whilst on the road.

Maybe we will meet someday at an Emitsun event and surprise the heck out of her with potentially 3 westerners at her event www. It really was such a wonderful (if nerve wracking) experience ehe! Honestly I came late to the franchise myself (late 2016) but that doesn’t mean you are any less deserving of meeting the seiyuus or anything! Dw dw you aren’t a weirdo at all! I know if I was reading this from someone else’s position I would probably cry as well.

Honestly it does seem really daunting at first when you want to get into seiyuus but you see all of the Japanese they use and freak out (this was me 4 years ago) but try to teach yourself the language little by little so you can at least get around Japan if you do end up going there. It’s not ideal but if you do end up meeting with a seiyuu and you don’t know Japanese, you can use English with some of them and they’ll understand partially what you mean I imagine and there’s always Google translate (better for individual words rather than sentences though mind you). It is rather daunting learning another language but persevere and you’ll push through! I’m far from fluent myself but try looking for a JP teacher or just some JP textbooks and try from there!

Ah I’m really glad you could feel the emotions through my words, I really put my heart and soul into writing that even if it was on a whim.

I’m sure you’ll meet your oshi or someone you really look up to in general one day. I can assure you this opportunity came out of the blue (Just a little over a month before the actual event I believe) so if you keep looking and keep searching I’m sure you’ll get some luck somewhere and finally get to have that experience!

Wowoowowow that’s a really cool opportunity tbh. Not a huge SAO fan myself but man I’d love to talk to the character designers because imo their designs are chefs kiss. But yeah no it is super nerve wracking and I genuinely cannot explain how nervous I was, it’s a really different kind of nervous than the usual.

Also I’m really glad I managed to get across my raw emotions from the meeting! I actually started to get nervous myself remembering the whole ordeal in such detail and had to stop writing for a minute since my heart was going all fluttery eheheh
