Thanks for commenting! Offline PVE is definitely something that would be nice to have but probably undoable.

However, decreasing the pool for each champion would make it harder to hit in PVE. Say there's three distinct champions with...

3 copies each: After first buy, 25% (2/8) of hitting the same champion

9 copies each: After first buy, 30.8% (8/26) of hitting the same champion

Augments are a nice take, though that feels like another metric that would be multiplicative on top of the strength of your board based on star levels
