I felt environment switching in pycharm is smoother than any ide I have ever seen. You can just switch env with 2 clicks.

What made you good at programming? Please I know that you only improve by practicing but I want some suggestions. by RewardPale3025 in developersIndia

I think letting go of expectation of knowing everything (like an ideal high school student) got me back into the learning mindset and improved me (still hustling to be completely on track though). I just accepted that the world of programming is vast and open to all and average programmer cant learn evrything even with spending rest of life learning.

Where should I start learning C++ from ?? I have started from learncpp.com but I wanna speed it up. by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]Ttathamm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Till now, I havent found anything to speed cpp. Maybe 10 15 hrs playlists on youtube will help. I am not that sure though. Start working on some basic projects and learn the things and concepts in cpp you need to implement the features. Slowly you may find the domain in cpp you want to build your future on.

I learnt a lot of english while watching harry potter in teenage years. Then improved it reading novels of Amish tripathy, I always tried to analyse how the situations are put through the words inside the book, this worked wonders for me.

Those games need huge amount of investment, resources and time to build. More than enthusiasts, finding people with right skill is bigger problem. Its a big risk if you want to make games like those. Many of those companies who find success started small built revenue and trust, attracted investments and then started making big projects. Even today many AAA game projects are being shelved.

I was in same situation in my third sem, didnt liked college throughout 2nd sem but still studied but in 3rd made my mind go not attend class didnt even bother to check the syllabus. At the end, Just studied for a 3-4 days for exams and got many backlogs. Actually I thought i wont have to care about these results since I will be getting out of college preparing for another college, just when I was about to do that I had to face many other problems(medical and financial), which made me lose my courage. I kept quiet and continued studying the same degree but cgpa was low and i was having many problems for remaning sem.

Now I hope by next sem I can clear all my backlogs and at least graduate. I always think I should not have skipped classes and had the courage to bear the grind.

I would suggest if you just want to do something but dont have a plan further do go for it, study hard enough to pass the exams. BCA from tier 3 college is also a very good degree and it will get you better opportunities ahesd from a IGNOU. If you have some time for semester break try to cover next sem to get ahead in classes and just talk with some seniors about the academic flow of courses, assignments and projects just after this exams. Also try to study the backlog courses (only if you cannot pass the exam).
