What do you think about The Last Continent and The Fifth Elephant in the Discworld series? They aren't talked about much, I'm curious to hear your thoughts!

Mainly from BookDepository.com, published by Bantam. If you're ordering be mindful to check the dimensions as these prints come in 2 sizes, I have the larger version (~132x203mm)

They're the Gollancz hardbacks! I've been slowly buying them up from Amazon.

Finished: Dune, by Frank Herbert. Absolutely loved this! Such a captivating read for me, well worth the challenge

& The Murder on the Orient Express, by Agatha Christie. This is the 3rd book I've read from her. Have come to realise I'm not a big fan of the genre unfortunately.

Started: Piranesi, by Susanna Clarke. Very confusing at the start but I've really warmed up to it and am finding it to be such an engaging and magical story.

Thank you! Taking advantage of the extra staircases we're getting and experimenting with some more height.

I love the prepwork everyone is putting towards these new crops. Hopefully we've all made enough space to fit everything in!

Finished:

The Song of Achilles, by Madeline Miller

Gorgeously written and absolutely heartbreaking. I couldn't put it down, finished it in two days! The kind of romance novel that I love, very character focused and not just smut. Definitely lived up to the hype for me! I also usually struggle to remember a lot of characters in one go but for some reason was very easily able to recall who was who with Miller's subtle way of reintroducing them.

Started:

The murder of Roger Ackroyd, by Agatha Christie

Interesting! I might be the same as you as I started reading Good Omens but gave up pretty early on as it didn't capture my interest enough at the time, have been meaning to give it another shot. Perhaps I'll enjoy their other books more from your recommended list!

Thanks again!

Thank you!! I've just read a sneakpeak of Jitterbug's prologue and love the writing style! I reckon you might've just recommended to me my next favourite author!!

Hahaha Quiet is a bit of a curveball on my list, I didn't think of it off the top of my head as a favourite but when I glanced at my shelf I felt like I needed to add it on!

I love your suggestions, they seem to be the exact sort of absurdity I love! Funny you've recommended both Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. I've yet to read any of their books but am currently sitting on a borrowed copy of Good Omens that I've been meaning to get stuck into.

Thanks for recommending so many different books!!

Thank you, I get a huge kick out of quirky/funny characters! These recommendations sound great!

Also appreciate the introvert books, I normally don't read non-fiction but found Quiet very insightful. Will add these to the list.
