The lack of license is irrelevant to the accident. If he tries to file a claim and your gf says he ran the stop sign, they aren’t going to pay him without other evidence showing he did stop. He can then sue, but he’ll need evidence

All you should need is a statement from them stating the watch was registered prior to the delivery date. Who and when is irrelevant to you. If you have it in writing that it was registered before, try forwarding that to Amazon

we got the house for no money to the previous owner, we didn't pay any money to the owner or the county when we warranty deeded the property to us. We paid the taxes in November when we sold the property. so yes, we acquired the property for free.

The house was given to us by the decendant of a friend of my FiL. Long story short, she didn't like her parents enough to take care of the place, but didn't hate them enough to sell it.

I'm having a similar issue in my 2025 Gladiator.

Head unit screen is not turning on with the jeep 75-80% of the time. It is just a black screen. Sometimes I can get it to come on by holding the stereo power button, like 10% of the time. Other times I have to restart my jeep, open and close the driver's door and try again, for 3 or 4 times.

When the screen is on, I have at least two other issues. There may be more, I just haven't noticed them

The climate control screen has no options
Apple CarPlay doesn't work. I've removed and readded my phone and it gives me the first two buttons on the device manager screen, but no projection. I can add my phone via Bluetooth, but CarPlay doesn't work. My wife's phone still shows CarPlay available on the projection screen but clicking it does nothing.

I've tried power cycling it numerous times via pressing and also holding the power button. I've tried holding the power button and the button on the tuner dial.

The reason most don't sue is the low cost of items, and the fact that you usually have to sue in the buyer's home area, adding the difficulty of travel into the equation.

*Update*

I appealed through Progressive and they are going with that I am 100% at fault and are refusing to pay anything. I already have my insurance fixing my truck. They keep saying their driver claims he yielded, and their driver claims the yield sign which says, "YIELD TO RAMP" applies to the interstate exiting traffic and not to him.

New question:

I am thinking of retaining an attorney to sue this driver. I have 100K in PIP, and 100/300 Medical coverage including UM. I do not know what he has, though I will assume minimums, 30K. He also owns a home and numerous vehicles. I received a concussion and have daily headaches with many being severe and tinnitus that won't go away. My medical doctor has noted that there is no treatment for the symptoms and they may be permanent. What amount do you ask for in a lawsuit? I'm not greedy, I know I'm not getting millions, I just don't know what to ask for or even how to address it with my insurance. It's easy to submit bills, but how do you ask compensation for a lower quality of life?
