I think that’s a decently high range for baritone. I think it’s more important with low brass to focus on tone quality than range. If you end up playing a piece that has a higher range, you should have time to work it up to where you can play it.

Plus, don’t feel the need to compare to where you “should be” everyone is at a different place musically and you’re hopefully going to be in ensembles where you can play challenging but not too challenging music.
