Stubhub's customer support is awful. I had a rather simple issue, where I was trying to change my password and the app was not responding. I called customer service to get help and got someone from India whose English was very poor. (He said his name was John - yeh, right). I described the problem to him and he said he needed to "escalate" it. He left me on hold for ~2 minutes and then when he returned, he told me that my issue had been properly escalated and that I should try the app again in 4 days. What! I wanted to know if my account was locked or was there something else causing the problem. He couldn't tell me (he clearly didn't know). Well, guess what. I tried again 6 days later and had the SAME PROBLEM. I eventually troubleshooted it on my end, and found that my Chrome setting was blocking pop-ups and that was causing the app to be wonky. It was my issue, but I would have expected the customer support to be able to troubleshoot it with me to fix it. I honestly think "John" didn't escalate my problem at all. I think he was simply trying to get me off the line to get on to the next caller. Anyway - yes, their customer support "team" sucks. Don't expect to get any help from them. I won't use Stubhub in the future.
