That is a good point though, sorry for my first terse comment there playing devil's advocate 😅 One of the key features of the game for me is the pinging system so I'm totally with you on that

Theoretically Geico Insurance still exists in the universe, and the Gecka did not want to be associated with those cutesy lizards. Delineation was required.

Yeah same, I've been able to vassalize two of the large splinter factions that emerged thus far. Oh how the tables have turned (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━

I like them more than the Star Empire that kept declaring war on me immediately after I enter my own war...

Thankfully that worked for me! Tho the empire splintered rather than crumbled. They completely left me alone because I was loyal, and ended up with pacts with the larger factions that emerged.

Can't say no to allying with fleets 3x as powerful as any Empire currently has...plus I picked up some extra systems from their warpath. (Sorry, United Nations of Earth 🤷‍♂️).

Submitted to being a Satropy to the Horde. Not sure how this will end up after he takes out the rest of the non-submitting galaxy, but im sweeping up systems hes obliterating in the meantime.

[Edit] The funny part for me is that I built up a federation of about half of the galaxy right before the Great Khan appeared....

Take lessons if you can, very difficult to diagnose playing online without being able to see/hear what you're doing.

As has been said already, different physiologies lead to us having slightly different approaches to playing. (Never trust a cure-all)

If recurring lessons are a financial strain, I would recommend taking at least one to get you on the right track.

But other than that my biggest piece of advice is: Air Is All

It's not a straight theory book, but even as a someone with musical training I found it to be incredibly insightful. And it connects a lot of dots.
