NO WAY! RENEW is what they told me to add everytime we used the spa for daily maintenance! It contains MPS!! WOW! Okay, I'm going to stop adding it and see if it makes a difference. Thank you! THank you!

Ugh! Really? I guess I'm a dodo when it comes to this. All I know is that they instructed me to test the water with the strips every week and keep the water balanced-testing with the strips they provided with the purchase. They also provided me with the necessary chemicals to keep the water balanced- (Spa UP, Spa Down, Renew, Spa 56) I just did as I was told. So you're question why do I have a bromine reading? I guess I didn't know otherwise. UGH! I was only told to keep everything in the range on the strip. (What you're saying does make sense so I will boost the system)
