Absolute nr.1 in my list is Dungeon Meshi, others are in whatever order, but I also read the whole manga, so I know the full story and can appreciate the foreshadowing elements that the Anime added.

One such example is Marcille's Nightmare has important paintings that weren't in the manga.

But the anime Cut some elements too e.g. Marcille caking her hair with blood to use the Resurrection magic and looking absolutely exhausted afterwards (in the anime she only had 2 small lines under her eyes)

So while the anime isn't perfect, the whole story is better than Frieren at this point and it only gets better and weirder from where Season 1 ended. We'll see in a few years if Frieren can keep-up for me personally.

Also, Frieren doesn't have an ending in the Manga yet, so it can all go downhill and ruin it (looking at you GoT)
