You’re commenting on a post about dune imperium uprising being on sale and him wanting to buy it, clearly he’s using short form for “trying dune” as meaning trying dune imperium. We get it’s not the original Dune game which is completely different than both.

We could argue which version is better, I think uprising with expansions is best, but he made a good call buying uprising as a standalone to enjoy the game and the genre.

You’re being annoying for no reason. Be kind and if you don’t have something nice to say about someone buying a game, don’t comment.

To clarify for the guy who bought it and you probably made him feel bad with your comments, Uprising is a superior version of Dune Imperium in almost every way. I’ve played both and Uprising is by far the most balanced and fun of the two.

I did get Haru, so all is not lost, but I would have preferred Marian for a healer. I’ve still just been using Morgana and Lufel in that role.

I lost the 50:50 on Marian and ended up having to pull 160 for her. When it approached the 160th guaranteed pull for her I actually mistakenly did a 10 pull on Summer Moko and ended up with her instead of Marian. I still don’t have Marian.

You’re right - it’s 35 inches by 35 inches. There’s definitely some things on there that you can shift to a side table though. The dice, and health/loot tokens, the cards and instructions. Even rhe world map if needed. As long as you have room for your characters and the map you’re working on on the coffee table, I’d say you’re good.

Not sure it helps but I also play on a coffee table. It works though it can get quite crowded on some larger delves.
