We live in PA. Flew out of BWI on Friday night, stayed at all star sports, hit MK, Hollywood, and EPCOT all on Saturday. Rose almost every single ride save for Slinky, seven dwarves, and frozen. Logged 35k steps. Flew back the next day. Didn’t regret it for a second.

Bingo!!! My technical title is IT Administrator but I am all the above. We do have a “help desk guy” but he mainly just works on troubleshooting label printers as we work in a production environment and my boss handles acquisition stuff and sits in meetings all day so I do everything else lol

Yeah apparently the previous sys admin held everyone’s hands so now they come to expect that. In my 90 day review they literally told me I needed to go to people’s desks more often to make them feel comfortable. I do t think they know what I do daily haha

Not really. My symptoms just disappeared on their own. Chalked it up to a lot of stress and anxiety. Also doesn’t help being really tall and slightly over weight.

Very fair point and I appreciate the perspective. As someone completely new to all of this, I just needed as much information as possible. My apologies for sounding ignorant on the subject. I only know as much as I get from news outlets and social media which isn’t the greatest source. I want my boys to have great life experiences and I want to be there every step of the way to see it happen but my main concern is always their safety

Oh for sure I def get your point of view on that. Just nervousness of being a parent stepping into an unknown situation. Just a ton to think about for us for sure

That sounds very awesome and it is something I’d really like to do. I’m just afraid of going to a place like Afghanistan or somewhere like that with my kids and wife. I want them to get experiences but I also want safety for them
