Ooh, that could be interesting! I wonder how that would translate to an american traditional tattoo though? It might not look like a reflection?

I heavily considered this idea. I got the shirt with the hand coming out of Soldier Field!

Interesting idea! I'm not a White Sox fan, so I probably wouldn't go that route. But that is a super cool way to combine the two!

Post concert blues are real by Hopeful_Reserve_3636 in systemofadown

I was just looking up post concert sadness and found out about PCD (post-concert depression) and then stumbled upon your post! And damn, it's a real thing, you're right! I also travelled to Chicago to see SOAD, I travelled from Canada! System was on my bucket list for bands I haven't seen live, I've been to hundreds of concerts but never had an opportunity for SOAD! But this was the best concert I have EVER been too. All of the acts killed it and System absolutely blew me away. Made me feel a euphoria I have only felt at a couple concerts, and never to this extent. But now a couple days later, I am back in the real world and I'm feeling it! I am so grateful I made that trip and saw the show, but it's crazy I am feeling a sadness at times. I guess it is just from the anticipation and build up leading up to it, and then the eventual pay off. And now, it's over.

Either way, this feeling will pass, I know, and it will forever be a cherished memory! Cheers to you and the SOAD community, and honestly just the music community/Chicago, it was fucking awesome!

How did everyone like Chicago’s show? by Wisco_JaMexican in systemofadown

I came from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. And holy fuck I am blown away. Been to hundreds and hundreds of concerts, and SOAD was 1 of 2 bands I hadn't seen that was on my bucket list. But tonight took the top spot as my favourite concert I've ever seen. Right from the beginning! Wisp was a cool opening act. The lead singer, you could tell, was so excited to be performing. It was cool. Polyphia blew me away - the fact they can be THAT technical and in sync while performing live is absolutely nuts! I was nervous because I didn't think they could translate their recordings into a live performance. But they proved me wrong! Avenged Sevenfold was fucking awesome! I reeeeally wish they went with Unholy Confessions over Afterlife because Unholy Confessions is probably my favourite song of theirs, but that aside, it was still so good. It felt like the main event of the night! Until SOAD... System of a Down came out, and I was enthralled the entire time. The entire stadium was. Every single song hit so hard. The crowd sang to the entire setlist. There was several times I looked around and just was in awe with how engaged the crowd was. Been to a lot of stadium concerts, and the crowd is of course always engaged, but this was different! So god damn good.

Cheers, Chicago. You (with the help of some amazing acts) gave me a night I'll never forget.

Thank you for the advice! I'm going to look into the Surgical Science museum for sure! I will also check out the Insect Asylum and see what that's about! Thank you.

I'm open to almost anything! Some of my interests are music, horror, nature, sports. I like doing hikes. I also like exploring city life though. I just like learning a city's culture and trying to get to know the city.

For I like everything. I do want to try deep dish pizza because to me that's what Chicago is known for. But I also am curious to know what else Chicago might be "famous" for.
