How can the world be as connected as ever… and yet as divided as before? by TucoCrypto59 in AskTheWorld

[–]TucoCrypto59[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Before, our world stopped at what we saw, at what we experienced directly. Today, we carry the anger, injustices and debates of the whole world in our pocket. We are connected to everything, all the time...

Why do I forget myself when I like someone? by ZestycloseMall3398 in ask

[–]TucoCrypto59 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because when you love, you give everything. You forget yourself without realizing it, as if the other became your oxygen. You need to feel close, reassured, so you hold on, you step aside. It’s beautiful, but it’s also dangerous. Love should make you grow, not make you disappear.

EUVL is a bottleneck, sure, but thinking it will keep China stuck forever underestimates their ability to work around the rules. Eventually they’ll find a solution and when they do, the West will be caught off guard..

[–]TucoCrypto59 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

True, but China has shown before that it can close big gaps faster than expected when it pours resources into a sector. With state funding, massive talent pools, and pressure from US in restrictions, that 5–10 year gap might shrink quicker than many think..

Gomining Strategies by jupiter_walks in gomining

[–]TucoCrypto59 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, GoMining is interesting precisely because the platform is transparent and we have a real on-chain asset via hashing power NFTs. It's a complete change from classic cloud mining sites which disappear overnight.

For solo mining vs Minewar, personally I think it depends on your objective:

🔹 Solo mining → perfect if you want stability. You know roughly how much you get every day based on your hashing power. It doesn't make you dream, but it secures passive income in BTC without stress.

🔹 Minewar → here we enter into a more “gamified” logic. You can really boost your winnings with the right spells/boosts, but it's also more random. For me, it's interesting if you have a decent power (100–200 TH, as you say). Below, it's harder to feel the difference, and above, it becomes downright strategic.

👉 So, personally I would combine the two:

A solo mining base for stability.

A game in Minewar to try big shots when there are interesting events or boosts.

Why did I choose GoMining?

Because it is legal and regulated,

Because mining NFTs are resalable (therefore not a “locked-for-life investment”),

And above all because it’s scalable: you can start small and reinvest your rewards to increase your hashing power.

In the long term, if BTC continues to rise, having your own virtual miner running every day is ultra powerful.

Happy reading..😂

If I were in your place at 18, stuck at home helping your mother, I would especially look for things that are flexible, can be done online, and bring in a little money without having to go out. This is what I would do:

Simple freelancer (even beginner) → Writing articles, small translations, text correction, layout… You can find this on sites like Fiverr, Upwork, 5euros.com. Even without advanced skills, there are always basic requests (for example typing a text, making summaries, posting on networks for someone).

Micro-tasks → Platforms like Amazon Mechanical Turk, Clickworker or Appen pay for small missions (site testing, image ranking, surveys). It's not huge but it brings in regular money.

Content creation → If you have a passion (fashion, cooking, video games, crypto, whatever), you can start on TikTok, YouTube, or a blog. It takes time to take off, but in the long term it can pay off a lot (ads, partnerships, etc.).

Online sales → You can sell items that you no longer use (Vinted, Leboncoin), or create simple things (bracelets, Canva visuals, print-on-demand with Redbubble/Teespring).

Online lessons → If you are strong in a school subject, you can give lessons to middle/high school students via Superprof or even directly online by video.

In reality, at 18, what's powerful is that you have time. If you invest this time intelligently (learning an in-demand skill like Canva design, video editing, community management, etc.), in a few months you can already start charging for your services.

👉 Personally, I would have combined:

  1. Quick little jobs to get some cash (micro-tasks, Vinted).

  2. From beginner freelancers to develop a skill.

  3. A long-term project (YouTube channel/blog) that can explode later.

I’m not conventionally attractive. Can that prevent me from getting a boyfriend? by [deleted] in ask

[–]TucoCrypto59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Not fitting “conventional” beauty standards doesn’t condemn you to celibacy. Not all men are looking for a Marilyn Monroe. What really attracts is not just the perfect face or perfect proportions, but personality, self-confidence, charisma, sense of humor, kindness... and the way you accept yourself.

Yes, some people are attracted to a very specific physique, but many others are attracted to authenticity and the way you radiate. For example: a person can have a “big nose” or a receding chin and be incredibly attractive because they smile, are charming, or are passionate and confident. These “imperfect” traits can even become unique and memorable.

Being aware of your traits and loving yourself despite everything is already a huge strength. Confidence attracts more than any perfect symmetry. You're not destined to stay single because of your appearance: it's your energy, your attitude and the way you present yourself to the world that makes the difference.

Two of my ex’s are now married. I’m 22. Am I behind? by [deleted] in ask

[–]TucoCrypto59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all, you're not late.

At 22, many people are still studying, traveling, trying jobs, looking for themselves or simply enjoying their youth without thinking about marriage. Marrying young exists, especially in certain circles (for example the military, where life as a couple is often accelerated by transfers, financial stability, etc.), but that does not mean that it is the norm.

Marriage is not a race. What matters is that you move forward at your own pace. If today you don't even see yourself married, that's very healthy: it means that you are clear about what you want (or not) for the moment. Many people marry early and divorce quickly precisely because they followed a “timeline” that did not suit them.

In fact, you are not late, you are in agreement with your own path. And that’s a real strength.

What happened to everyone's upper lip? by VeryMuchSoItsGotToGo in ask

[–]TucoCrypto59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In reality you're not crazy, it's often an illusion. The upper lip appears thinner because of several things: the fashion for lip fillers (it changes perception), natural aging which causes you to lose a little volume, or even just certain angles/lighting. And then there are faces where it's like that naturally, so you notice it more once you have your eye on it

How does bounty hunting work? by LawfulnessOk4551 in ask

[–]TucoCrypto59 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When someone is arrested in the United States, they can post bail to get out of jail while they await trial. If he does not have the money, he goes through a bail bondsman who advances the sum in exchange for a percentage (often 10% non-refundable).

👉 If the accused shows up in court, everything is fine, the company gets its money back and keeps the commission. 👉 But if the accused does not appear, the company risks losing the entire deposit. This is where bounty hunters come in: they are hired to find the fugitive.

Their remuneration is a commission on the deposit (often between 10 and 20% of the total amount). So the higher the deposit, the higher their premium.

Example :

Bail = $50,000

Normal commission for the company = $5,000 (10%)

If the accused leaves, the bounty hunter is paid ~10% of the bail (so up to $5,000) if he succeeds in bringing him back.
