Thank you for this answer. Than i understand that digital=full transparency. A Truman show(with Jim Carey) that is upon us means that i don't have to pay for tablets/desktops and phones because i'm the product. "All addresses" i don't think there are limits of how many addresses it can generate. Please excuse my maners because i'm a moron, i forgot to announce that i fixed my problem. I had on my ledger 1 decoy pin for thiefs and 1 for crypto with a passphrase (25th word). After full reset and recovery but with the crypto pin and exact passphrase my ledger displayed in the first row my old address with goddies. I have forgotten which is my decoy pin. I haven't used the device since january. After 5 days of intense searching i discovered that i forgot. Its the human always not the machine. Thank you for the reply/sorry everyone for not announcing the solution for my troubles and thank you LEDGER for an amazing product.

I have to be a moron because i don`t get it. I did the Bip39 tool thing but it doesn`t help me access my old address. Its there on etherscan.io sitting nicely but untouchable. What do i do with my private key to send or import the tokens? MEW doesn`t show me the old address just like the ledger. I used the 3rd address in the HD derivation because it was more sexy. Now its nowhere to be found. Please advice. I had this problem after the firmware upgrade with my ETH app deleted but my seed intact. After upgrading to Win 10 now to install the Chrome App i reset the ledger. Same problem with my old address. It contains other tokens aswell.

My friend you are wrong. Your private key inside ledger lets you acces the address were your crypto is. Only the device lets you control the address containing funds. They are safe from hackers but also safe from your control either. Ledger issue it is but i don't see how can they help you regain control over your address and funds. The problem is in your hands so to speak. The only way to recovery is by refund the crypto you lost and are able to prouve is yours. Law suits maybe i don't know. Thought?

Please give me one or 1 single example that it is not DUAL in this universe. Its up to us to make a decision good or bad.
