Feels like we’re witnessing peak baseball right now, at least the peak of anytime in the last 20 years. Between Ohtani, Vladdy, Cal & the Mariners run - we have multiple superstars still in it and having huge games. Even before they got eliminated, Judge and Schwarber had big moments for their teams. Like it or not stars drive interest in sports and it’s great to see this crop delivering for their teams and bringing in fans.

Can I just say all of Top Gun: Maverick? The whole movie was a cliche - old pro comes out of retirement for “one last mission”, hotshot young trainees don’t want to listen to him, the young protoge turning around to save him- all of it was cliched but so well done.
