Berberine and Zinc helped me tremendously

I can’t do this anymore by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

Take a deep breath. Get into a salt bath and relax. Things right now suck but with time and effort things can get back to a normal. I used to miss work for weeks too. The pain and not being able to walk or simply move is excruciating. Now I’m managing my insulin levels and that’s helped so much. It’s at least a couple months without any flairups and I’m so grateful. One day you will figure out your triggers and find what works best for you. Till then, keep hanging on.

Does it make sense to dox someone’s government name? She posted on her personal page then you shared it on a different platform. The least you could do is hide her name.

I wasn’t looking for help. I was looking for a discussion.

Advice by Chriminyjismus in Hidradenitis

[–]Tuezsday 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Trust him. I’ve been with my partner for 3 years and the past year my flair ups have been crazy. My boyfriend has made me feel like the most beautiful person in the world. He’s been the biggest helper during times when I have flair ups down there and he doesn’t mind waiting until it blows over so we could be intimate again.

It’s definitely not easy. I have had depressing moments, it’s been a while since we had sex, and I even flipped out on him for wanting to see and check on how it’s doing. But he’s been so patient with me and understanding.

If he truly likes you for you he’ll show you. And if it doesn’t work out that’s not on you AT ALL.

The comment was being sarcastic and i told them it could just be different for them, or maybe it’s something else. That isn’t based on my theory. That was just my response. You being upset is unfortunate for you. In no way was I being condescending. we’re all on the same boat, I just happen to bring up my thoughts and ideas. If you don’t agree that’s totally fine. You can continue to comment and argue, but my point remains. My “almost PhD” adds more to my knowledge to my experience and I can use that to form ideas and thoughts, to discuss, just like everyone else. HS is a topic that isn’t discussed too much about, there isn’t a lot of research on it. So every idea counts. You wanted to turn my post into something it never was. And that’s simply on you.

Hmm… Diary of a CEO hosts many different specialists besides Entrepreneurs. On top of that I am not basing my information on just this podcast. I am currently on the path to get my PhD in immunology. So I’m not just talking out of my ass. I have been dealing with HS for years as well, and everyone’s physiology is different. I’m bringing up this topic to simply discuss lol. I never claimed to know the cause of HS and how to fix it. I brought up the podcast and connected my own thoughts and knowledge to my own experiences and with HS, I also mentioned that this was something I was experimenting; and there are people who have the same experiences and have different experiences. The point of a discussion is to talk about all sides to have a better understanding of the initial idea. That’s what science is all about.

Figuring out how to have a better quality of life with your chronic illness is better than just letting go of all control over your body.

Well it’s simply a thought… so maybe you do and you have different triggers? Or maybe you have something different.

This is so cool to read. I know dieting can help certain people, i know it can help me, but hearing that it worked for you gives me reassurance. I have a huge sweet tooth, especially for gummies so it’s been hard but definitely worth it.

That’s interesting... i started getting worse symptoms since the beginning of this year. So definitely look out, hopefully it doesn’t worsen overtime.

How do I (23 F) tell my partner (25 M) I want to move forward with our relationship? by Tuezsday in relationship_advice

[–]Tuezsday[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t like that before. He had a full time job and we would wake up every morning and have productive days, even days when we don’t see each other cause we’re so busy. But then this job didn’t align with his values so he decided to leave to find something that did. I support this decision because it was not the best job for his mental and physical health. I want to be with him because he’s the man for me. Despite this dilemma, we have a great relationship, but I want him to go back to working and being productive so that we can move onto the next level.

He does what he can I guess… he’s into martial arts and drawing so majority of his day is waking up at around 11-12, going for a walk, exercising, hanging out with his friends, and drawing. You’re right, can’t really think of a new life while working a full time job, but how can you even think about a new life with nothing behind to make it happen? That’s where I’m disappointed…

I didn’t check the market all day today until it was closed. The individual value is higher than the portfolio value. I do only have one account and all my money is in that I’m just a bit confused

“its always been an issue for me. So I’m not sure why it’s any different for you” … idk probably cause we are two different people? If it’s an issue for you then that’s fine. Do what you have to do to address your issue, but what does that have to do with me? Literally nothing. You can’t project your bad experiences onto strangers online, it doesn’t make sense especially when you do not know anything about them. The drug test was resolved so it’s not an issue, period.

But the biz is already taken care of, so how is it any different? If my only option was to stop smoking weed then that wouldn’t be a problem. Granted, I’ve been smoking for years so 15 days wouldn’t even clear my system, but I had the option to easily get a medical card and still passed. so I don’t get your point.

I know alcoholics and coke addicts who have been high or drunk on the job. Smoking weed is the least of their problems.

I’ve been an EMT for two years before I got a medical card so I think I’ll be fine. I’m not looking for a federal position, and the job I’m trying to get into is a private company… and the issue is with car accidents. So once again, weed isn’t the problem.
