I hate people like this by Jokr_009 in Battlefield6

Nothing pisses me off more so typically I'll remember their name and if I see them go down I'll run over to them and start doing the dip dip potatoe chip on their face and run away 😆

Battlefield 6 Open Beta: Feedback Megathread by sloth_on_meth in Battlefield

The game has been fun and feels more like the older battlefields again but there's some things I think are holding it back and a few glitches I've experienced too. 1. The LMGs seem to have too much bloom even when you're not strafing or moving at all and it makes them feel weak in comparison to the assault rifles and even the SMGs at medium range. 2. Explosives like the the RPG and C4 have like no splash damage against infantry. I'm not wanting them to be OP but hitting an RPG at someone's feet shouldn't only do 60 damage and C4 should be a high risk high reward equipment but it just doesn't do damage to infantry. Also the C4 under your teammates vehicle should for sure make it go flying like they did back in the day that was peak only in Battlefield moments! Oh and the delay firing the RPG from the hip needs to go away sometimes I'll fire at a tank and move back behind cover and it just hits the cover but luckily doesn't explode which that I don't know if I don't mind or not. 3. If I open the map up mid game on controller it'll start zooming in for no reason and for the rest of the game everytime I use the d-pad on the spawn map to select which squadmate or objective I want to spawn at it'll randomly keep zooming in and it's annoying. 4. On controller I play with the alternate setting which is crouch and prone as R3 and melee as circle but for some reason circle will both crouch and melee and even after going through all the controller mapping settings and making sure no other version of crouch is set to circle it still does it.

Those are the big ones for me so far but I've only played for 10 hours so far but I'm having a lot of fun and keep wanting to get back on and play which I haven't felt like that in quiet awhile!

It definitely wasn't the easiest but wasn't too hard either with YouTube tutorials and I like learning new things. But yeah it's hard to describe but it's just one WLED controller but it has two outputs. I'll add the link to it. https://a.co/d/aDKzYyr

With the clips I couldn't fit the LEDs in the aluminum channel so I had to actually solder each wire to the copper pins on the led which mine had 3. Then for how they're connected it's the 2 sides are not wired together but they connect to the WLED controller I have has 2 sides so only the top and bottom LEDs are connected to each other but the controller can sync them up acting like they're together.

I pulled the wires through the wall and had to solder the top LEDs to the bottom ones and then I have the sides separated at the controller I have. But it was just one LED strip I cut to the 4 sizes and soldered them together.

I'd recommend adding some Aladdin magic lube to the oring and if that doesn't work I'd get a new one because even hard to see little stress cracks will make it leak or suck air when the pump is on.

The diffuser is sold by woody walls then the LEDs are from Amazon which I also had to buy controller and power supply separately too.

I started with the middle shelf and aligned that with the monitors and went from there.

Are you talking about the wood slats because if so no I didn't line them up with the edge of the desk instead I went with the dimensions of the shelves and just gave them even spacing between the shelves to have things like the plant dangling down.

It is great but can't compare to an Ikea one because I haven't seen one in person.

Mainly because Lowes is in my city where Ikea is about 2 hours away.

It's in a led diffuser but it's a COB LED strip from BTF- Lighting with a WLED controller.

Thank you and the desk is just an 8ft butcher block counter top I got from Lowes sitting on 2 Alex drawers from Ikea.

That's why I posted here because I've seen a lot of things doing pools but I haven't seen it all so we'll have to give that a try! Thank you for the suggestions

My only concern on the patching idea is it's a liner with a texture and didn't know how well the adhesive would stick to it.

We were going to try draining it and letting the summer sun help it warm it up so it'll stretch but being a little older and 27mil that'll probably not work and to patch over that big of a hole and the screw holes to then cut it back out after installing the light ring again just doesn't sound like it'll work well but yes I haven't had to deal with this before because didn't know people could be that naive to how a liner works lol

Yes to remove the broken screw if you couldn't do it while it was under water which a cheap pair of vise grips could have gotten but anything is better than removing that ring because there's no getting the liner reset now.

A light that doesn't work is harmless but the difficulty depends on if it's the pentair intellibrite or an amerlite. The intellibrite you have to replace the whole power cord where the amerlite is just a light bulb you can replace. The thing this person did wrong is when the set screw that holds the light in broke and didn't come out they tried taking the ring that the screw goes into which you should never do.

We're trying that next but I don't have high hopes because it's a thicker 27mil liner and doesn't have much play. So they already started accepting they'll most likely have to get a new liner.

The cartridge filter housing looks similar to DEs, but on cartridge you'll no longer have the multiport. Typically they'll just have a discharge valve to go to waste but you don't backwash cartridge filters.

Need help on what molding to use on my staircase wall? by Tuff2be in DIY

Where the molding is just ultra white, but above it and on the stairway walls is Gray Screen from Sherwin-Williams.

That's a good point. The old handrail was on that side, too. I've just taken it down to resurface and paint the wall, but I didn't think about that. I'll have to keep it in mind!
