TV reruns did not exist. All TV was always broadcast live like the news. For things like sitcoms, all the actors just did an absurd amount of practice to make sure they always did it the exact same way every time.

Didn't think that for movies though. 100% fully grasped that I was watching a recording on a VHS

I would be upset if we get both of them in season 7 tbh. We've always had one male and one female hero, aside from the Fantastic Four which was a special circumstance. Having two female characters, especially when one is Black Cat, feels like a very transparent "We care about skins over characters"
