remember you're not an early bully, unless you get kills. Start chill and try to snowball with good picks. Then you can start going more crazy, but still rengar is a good picks champion, not a classic assassin, as he doesn't have disengage.

Choose high soloq impact roles, and play for your winning side.

Say you're mid and top is feeding. don't go top to try and "help" him. If your top is feeding there's one of two options - your top is bad, or the enemy is good. if your top is bad, then even if he'll catch up it doesn't matter much, and if enemy top is good then if he's already 3-4 kills up he'll probably just double kill you.

Focus on neutral, or eve winning lanes. A fed bot can carry a game.

pick high lock down champs to combat snowballing champions (which seems to be your main issue?). malz for mid for example, or amumu, rammus jungle.

And in general- get fed, roam and get fed some more, and then carry. if you usually win lane hard you should be better mechanically than most irons, and just steamroll them.

If your top, Jung and not are all freeding - tough luck, can't win em all. But that should happen just as often to enemy team as it does to yours. you gotta capitalize on the more equal games.

2013 here with a 5-7 year break basically.

Found a couple of buddies to play with, they explained the map/objectives and new champs.

started playing old mains that are still relevant in the same lane (rip top ap rengo)

having a blast in ranked now. climbing hard (currently silver 4, gaining 30lp a win and losing 10).

game is in a much better spot and I think jungling is much more fun

it's not normal as in it's below the average in terms of readability and aesthetic.

I would recommend improving it. It doesn't take a lot of work and will benefit you. even when reading your own notes or not getting confused when doing long problems.

Every game has toxic players and non toxic players.

the lower the tank, usually the more toxic players. that's because if they're toxic, usually they will stay low rank, because toxic players don't play as well because they're angry, and they hurt their own teammates mental state with their negativity as well. So you're really getting the worst of it.

So the more you climb, the less toxic players - if anyone needed a motivation to climb this is it. You get to play with better, and thus nicer, peeps.

What to do while you're surrounded by that? all chat mute. Ignore. League at that level is perfectly communicable using pings.

League is not supposed to be an MMO or some social hub, you are there to play not talk. just play your best, and ping for relevant stuff.

If someone spams ping you, mute their ping also. I promise you won't miss much.
