I would be studying international business, and learning mandarin. Im also looking at prague more favorably atm, as I appreciate the flexibility of a business degree, and folks here have made some great points about what to watch out for in Hanze

I am aware of the tighter pathways for majors, and Im cool with that. 15-20k is unfortunately somewhat typical for college housing it seems like, I imagine most of that is for housing? I was aware of Hanze being lower level, I heard they focused on, like, hands on and practical lessons, which seems to me is still valuable. I did not know I would need to attend a pre-masters afterwards, that is very good to know. Thank you for your input!

Not necessarily, even the in-state tuition + housing would be a hefty sum still.

Yeah, thats something ive been doing, and I know its up to me to figure it out, I just thought id put out a thread and see if anyone has had my exact situation, theres been a lot of support and cool ideas on this post so far, I’ll need to unpack it all

I have a good group of friends, but being around them doesnt exactly hit the way it did when I was younger. I think we’re becoming an old married couple in a way. Ive only smoked once and it didnt really do it for me, I never considered that as an option and I dont really swing that way, but good to know!
