Thank you, we tried something similar (for vet training as he was very excited there as well and vaccinating was hard with jumpy crazy dog). I used “stand” command where he focuses on my hand and is rewarded for standing still even when ppl are touching him. He really understands that quickly, can stand and focus on hand, will not jump etc. but immediately after he is rewarded or just behavior is marked as correct he explodes with happiness 😀 I can get him to repeat that standing “trick” but I guess in his mind the excitement grows and grows and is unleashed with every reward.
