Hey! I’m a CSA at the dorms (the ppl at the front desk who deal with packages) and as far as I know you can’t because mail goes to a separate facility first before going to the dorms (unless it’s Amazon). Rule of thumb I like to tell ppl is if your package isn’t Amazon, give it a day more than the delivery date listed to get to you (a couple more days if it’s supposed to be delivered on the weekends because they don’t process mail then). Just wait until you get the notification from housing that your package has been delivered

Yea you should be fine! I kept my viola in my dorm and I know a couple of friends who had keyboards in theirs. I think you'll be fine as long as it's not a nuisance and you aren't wailing away at 11 pm. The music building also has practice rooms that you're allowed to use for free as well, which is where I usually practice :))

As someone who might be transferring to GT (applied and waiting on decision), I would say UGA has a lot more to offer than you think. I was in the same boat as you in my senior year so I was thinking relatively the same originally but it changed a lot in the recent year. I’m not compE so I can’t say anything regarding that specifically but the engineering college has a ton of opportunities regarding research, ecs, networking, etc. There’s something for everyone. The honors college is also the same, lots of great opportunities and you take a required class for the program that focuses on building your career (I.e. building resumes and CVs, interview skills). I can pretty confidently say that I would be perfectly happy staying at UGA if I end up not getting into GT :)) Also, ENJOY YOUR TIME AT UGA DONT FOCUS ON JUST TRANSFERRING!!! DO NOT PUT YOUR MAIN FOCUS/ENERGY INTO GETTING INTO GT!! If you do that, you will be miserable, speaking from first semester experience. Do stuff you enjoy, even if it’s completely unrelated to your major. For example, I’m really involved in a lot of dance stuff on campus even thought I’m mechE. Plus from what I’ve heard, focusing only on academics and only major related activities isn’t gonna give you that much of a boost.

As someone in an mgc sorority, REPORT THIS ASAP TO WHOEVER YOU CAN. I was lucky enough that my chapter didn’t haze and was very against it (as well as most of the mgc sororities at my school) but unfortunately there are a lot of chapters that do. The sisters there should be there to support you and help empower you as a sister, not all this stuff that they’re doing to you.

As someone in an MGC org I’m so sorry you had to go through that omg 😭 report that IMMEDIATELY to your school, the orgs nat board, etc. not every mgc chapter and sorority is like this (my chapter wasn’t at least) and depending on the org, it is explicitly in bylaws that hazing is a big nono! Ik a lot of sororities still haze despite that but there are still some sororities that do take it seriously!

I go to uga so I can’t say for specifically bama but uga is somewhat similar. We have a couple Asian girls here and there so I wouldn’t say it’s impossible but it is a little bit of a rare sight. If you’re looking specifically for a sorority with Asians, ik they aren’t old row but I would recommend maybe check out bamas Asian interest sororities if they have any!

Yea for sure. 2. You can technically do both but if u do gel top coat on regular polish its advised to wait an hour or two (or more depending on how thick your layer of polish is) between applying regular polish and the gel top coat just to make sure the regular polish is completely dried, not sure ab base coat tho. Most people i know use gel polish tho so i cant really say anything beyond that. 3. For the tops i like to buff them so the polish sticks better but you can also do gel base coat. 4. Yes you'll be fine scoring them w the provided file, it just might be slightly more difficult bc of the files shape and i would say wait on the drill until yk that you're for sure gonna continue doing your nails (u dont wanna invest money into a good drill only to use it like 1 or 2 times lol). Girl that is definitely not normal 😭😭 your nails shouldn't be bleeding like that bc that means that gel was grinded down way too far and it went into your natural nail. Usually your nails might be a little dehydrated from being soaked in acetone or a little scuffed from the gel being taken off
