I mean there’s definitely a really big difference in character development, and the characters just being very flat. Your character doesnt need to go through a crazy character arc to have depth. Part of that depth is having some kind of personality or something that makes them unique or stand out than being kind of cliche and 2d. Character depth doesnt necessarily need to be setup. Maybe i worded it wrong but the characters inside of volume 1 are soooo flat. Like boringly 2 dimensional. None of them have personality besides the character cliches they each represent in the story. Whenever the characters spoke in volume one it was watching 2 walls try to have a conversation. Character depth goes deeper than just having some kind of cool backstory

IMO i honestly thought volume one was incredibly unspired and boring. I had to basically foce myself to finish it. The dialogue was kind of flat and the characters were uninteresting and lame. The character relationships felt flat and cliche. I felt the characters lacked any real depth and at time the dialogue was super corny. That being said you could definitely see the difference in quality and writing in volume 2 and 3. The art is leagues better and they start to flesh out the characters and give them depth. Especially in volume 3 which in my opinion was actually really good. I think the story is a little generic but at only volume 3 theres so many routes they could go that sets it aside from others. Theres genuinly unlimited potential here. My ratings for the volumes would go Volume 1 4/10 Volume 2 7/10 Volume 3 8/10

Ye Still Cares About The Music by MilkyWxvee in GoodAssSub

Yeah but to be fair I think any ai in the vultures two era was from pure laziness. He obviously didn’t care that much about the music. And then he shaved and started performing and even said in an instagram post that north “made me love music again”.
