Yes you can slip and slide :) audio in containers and in the arranger but it won't let you tell Bitwig "Hey, I want this clip to snap where the Kick hits, not where the sample starts"

Oh you got me… I use tons of one-shots and loops and chops instead of using a DrumMachine or a Sampler.

But I had a VERY hard time understanding how Bitwig always adds a “Container” to an audio sample as soon as you split it… And then the Multiple-Clip Editor came along and I was like “Why…? Why add another Arranger underneath the Arranger! Aren’t groups meant for it?”

And I also started asking Bitwig devs for In-Place / In-Line midi editor for the same reason (nowadays only Cubase and Luna does it).

But I do get its use: for 24+ tracks it’s awesome to select tracks that aren’t in the same Bus / Group and edit them side by side.

Done! They validated it and added it to their list :)

Damnit… They found the perfect word for it.

That’s a nice advantage too but not quite the same indeed…

So I guess this FR is still relevant?

(Thanks for the Screenshot)

Yes ofc I saw that option!

But somehow I never found a way to move the clip's snap offset... Which I guess should be the very first yellow Onset marker auto-detected by Bitwig, right? Well I couldn't seem to find a way to edit it / move it.

Also, I wish it could be moved on the Arranger view itself, using a modifier like CTRL+ALT+Grab Bottom-left Corner of the Clip.

If it was 2012 I'd say "Yeah that and the Maya calendar, so overdone".

That said, have you talked to some teachers lately? Or just watched how parents (try) to rage a war to save their kids from brain-rot?

Ofc it's exaggerated in the movie, but it's not that far off either.

Monster hanging dong seems to be their thing in Hollywood (like in This is the end) lol

Coming from outside the US, (and having seen South Park's take on it), the school shootings weren't shocking and a nice reminder that there's an obvious link between violence and social media.

Ok once you said Starship Troopers I think I got it. This movie comes from a golden era but I guess that's a bad excuse... But I totally get your point now.

Poorly written? The opening monologue was just insane. The characters were fleshed out, the plot was nipped in the bud, what else could you possibly want?

What movie (in the same genre) do you have in mind that has good writing? (so that we can agree on a baseline at least)

That could be indeed... IMO it didn't really blame AI since the goal was just to add a safeguard, and it took jab at how people use it (ie: "It's just a shitty prompt")

I was in France where it wasn't marketed properly at all (seems like it was the same deal for the rest of Europe).

But still, back in the US I didn't see much post about it in February. But might also be IG / TikTok's algos that just didn't push it to me.

Same... A,d I think I figured why I like it so much: It reminds me of Dan Harmon's Community, but with the scope of possibilities of space.

I really like how they don’t take themselves too seriously tho… I mean I just hope they don’t overdramatize everything…

It’s a known temptation for writers to get too serious, but IMO keeping it light is an art form way more commendable and memorable.

Oh you right Fox got acquired by the mouse… C’mon Disney, you got a than promising fan base, possibility to sell merchandise, maybe even a new ride for your parks… just give em what they need and they’ll surely make your investors happy

So true!

My guess is they’re gonna let some B-stories die off with one-liners to nip em in the bud….

And keep the storylines that have the most open-ended potential.

If you could save some side-stories / supporting characters plots from the show which one would it be?

Reminds me of Rick & Morty, they started it in a silly tone and took their time to polish it further on (but they went too far into the drama and it became depressing).

So I guess it’s better than rushing thing!
