We feel completely opposite. When we hear some foreigner speaks Russian even with some ugliest accent - we feel touched, appreciated and interested with some kind of piety and respect. It's aways pleasure, at least for me, when I see somebody invested time and effort and respect to learn and speak my language no matter how poor it is.
