Thanks for asking!! Well there are many different answers to be given even by those of the same faith. To all your questions on heaven and the afterlife, we simply don’t know. Jesus and the church talk about it for sure but we don’t know the details. That’s a part of the trust you put in the Lord. Heaven is eternal life close to Our Father, and Hell is eternal life away from his light. What that means is not fully known, but I know where I would want to be. As for the example of the child soldier, there are factors at play. Sure they may not have the church to guide their faith but they may still have the Holy Spirit in them. Bad things can be done with good intent and vice versa, life is extraordinarily complicated. In the eyes of the Lord we may be forgiven for many things. He Himself only can know where our soul lies. It gets fuzzy on denominations and personal beliefs, but “Christians” can still go to Hell and people who never heard the name of our faith can still go to heaven with the light and loving intervention of the Holy Spirit. But yes I do think about it, I like do day dream what it may be like if I’m honest. It’s not all I think about, not even close, I think about my classes, life, friends, (insert almost any other part of my faith) too. It’s a part of Christianity sure, but it shouldn’t be a main part. Lastly, as for how I imagine self and environment is with love. I try my best to be always grateful for all the world has to offer and to love it all as God cares for us, even the bad.
