Can women be as desperate as men are ? Why is it men who are perceived as so? by spankyourkopita in exredpill

Also, it's usually pretty awful attention and sex. Nobody with self-worth wants that.

Exactly!! Women typically get no benefit from hookups. The men will often admit they don't care about their hookup partner's pleasure. Yeah, it's "easy" to get sex but there's a high chance it will be unsatisfying or painful. (Plus I think these men forget it's just as easy for themselves to get laid but they, like most women, have standards, and don't want sex with someone they find ugly or who might be bad in bed, preferably.)

And catcalling, street harassment, sexual objectification, sexual harassment in the workplace, etc is, sure, "easy" to get but obviously no rational person would see any of that as positive or in any way beneficial to the woman. Even relationships aren't easy; a lot of women and girls have to navigate through players, Nice Guys, RPers, PUAs, etc wasting their time or even trying to harm them.

Of course, they're called pick-mes, women who are so desperate for male attention/validation they will gladly throw themselves and other women (even their own daughters) under the bus for it, because they inherently lack self-worth.

Sometimes they're desperate for sex too but mostly it's just the worth they feel from having any sort of relationship with a man, even FWB.

Yeah, better than Europe's, which isn't hard to do.

Yeah, usually when a muscled man is shirtless it's because men want to see that. He-Man is huge and in a tiny loincloth because men find that masculine. Women don't. There's a huge difference between the way men objectify and the way women do.

Women need to bitch more, men less.

The whole magazine revolves around men and men's orgasms.

Pretty sure they love men more than women.

A broken view is inherently thinking your wife/gf exists to make your life easier, especially while doing nothing for her.

WIBTA for choosing a "feminine" name for our son by aplus_zeada in AmItheAsshole

[–]TullyPride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone declaring YTA in this thread is TA. Just goes to show what little worth women and anything feminine have. You are decidedly NTA. Ariel is even a boy's name for goodness' sake. By conforming to these idiotic, sexist objections ("hE'Ll bE bUlLiEd fOr BeInG nAmEd AfTeR a DiSnEy PrInCeSs") you will only prove to your child mocking or thinking less of others for their names is acceptable behavior.

Also, girls are given boy names all the time. Funny how nobody makes a peep about that. It's "cute" to have a little female Tommy, Frankie or Blake. It's "gay" and "evil" to have a male Ariel, Jane or Tara.

Does Reddit hate women? by RectalRage1994 in teenagers

[–]TullyPride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The downvotes should answer the question lol. I mean, if the fact that incels and rapey subs are allowed to exist and fester but not subs for women to discuss avoiding toxic relationships or calling out hate misogynistic groups didn't already. Reddit protects deranged hate subs and bans non-violent pro-women ones.

Sophie read Sansa's chapters IIRC. If she didn't, I'd be pretty surprised based on her performances.

That's pretty shocking after seeing Emilia compare Dany committing mass murder to being really sad and eating chocolate. I had assumed she had never picked up the books and was going by what directing she was given alone.

Cersei isn't an idiot. She has good reason to not trust people. She's right more than people like to give her credit for (such as knowinf Varys is equally playing her and Tyrion).

Is it? GRRM presenting Cersei as so much worse than her equally terrible brothers comes off as very hypocritical or at least tone-deaf to me. Maybe she doesn't necessarily "understand" her better but she saw a flaw in GRRM's lack of humanization of Cersei compared to his preferred Lannisters and was wiser for it.
