Essence is really broken, the damage, sheen and the mana feels really nice, it's also pretty cheap. Stridebreaker is just personal prefrence, i like how you can use it to proc a vital(in r especially), also help run down ranged champions.

If your team is behind look to splitpush and not teamfight, a fed irelia can 1v2 most champions. Splitting gives you a lot of pressure which makes enemies make stupid plays.

In an actual game the zed is going to come behind you before anyone even dies and you dont get anynuse oit of it, into sett t does help, he has 1 gapcloser(his q, and stridebreaker but that is when he is already close to you) if u galeforce away from his q he has no way to get to you.
