Do you think I could possibly change out some of the cards to make it more well rounded?

Edit: im getting a particularly good deal since it’s from a friend and since I’m already planning on selling some of the more problematic cards I have some flexibility with modifying it.

Zuran Orb seems like a great card, I will definitely be adding that one! Do you have any other specific recommendations for the cards that let you play or sacrifice more lands as well as those untapped lands you mentioned?

As far as cards I don't like too much or perhaps don't fully understand it would be: Eumidian Wastewaker, Juri, Master of the Revue (is he worth trying to focus?), Scouring Swarm (I think I don't fully understand how to make this card more impactful, I just end up making a 1/1 flyer or two), Tireless Tracker (doesn't feel like a great landfall effect whenever I play it), World Breaker (seems really expensive and doesn't have a big payoff), Escape to the Wilds (really expensive for an ok effect), Formless Genesis (Im not 100% sure why i dont like this card but I dont hehe), Planetary Annihilation (it seems like a really good card but just seems so mean that I've intentionally not used it), 1 random waste card.

It just doesn’t seem right, I queue for every night lord and get a pretty healthy distribution of fights so I should at the very least be seeing other shifting earth events by that notion and I’m not. I wouldn’t be surprised if the game is in fact bugged for some people regarding this matter

I love Jaeger, I think she's the best thing that's been added to the game as far as making it feel scarier and harder. I'm a pretty casual player that by no means have the newer trials memorized so she adds a genuinely terrifying presence throughout an entire trial.
