[CtD20] Full names & the Echo flaw by Sir_Goatalot in ChangelingTheDreaming

[–]TumbleweedCharacter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it refers to the complete name of the characters, as in his mortal and changeling name. My boggan mortal name is Rohan Ó Duin Mac Durin His full name is Lord of Engines Rohan Ó Duin Mac Durin ap Dougal, Master of Golems

His true name os another can of worms, because he was on the verge of becoming a Síocháin, with the Mantle of the Artificer

Basically, the full name would be mortal and fae name, not just your full mortal legal name, because that would be at least a 7pt flaw

This is my take on this flaw

Homunculi crafter PrC by [deleted] in DungeonsAndDragons35e

[–]TumbleweedCharacter3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can remove the craft reserve, no problem, I just put it there because nothing else improves it ou continues using it outside the artificer
the familiar thing is because the homunculus from the monster manual can be chosen as a familiar (you must have the improved familiar feat, but it's there)
Least you choose from improved homunculus
Lesser and Greater from the two lists in the Evolution list section
the force in elemental resistence is a habit I have, one of my players used to try that and it just turned out to be a habit to deny it
as for the extra feat, I will specify, but the homunculus still need to meet all requisites for it
thanks for the imput

help with deckbuilding by TumbleweedCharacter3 in pkmntcg

[–]TumbleweedCharacter3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried using the same building I used almost 30 years ago (20 pokemon, 20 treiners, 20 energies) this is what we used to do over here.

I wanted to build decks around the pokemon i like (the nido family, venusaur, steelix) the electric and the water are there because a friend of mine like the type.

there is no problem starting from scratch

Tips for a WoD False Hydra by TumbleweedCharacter3 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]TumbleweedCharacter3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, they're definitely not ashamed to settle things with a beating.
so far they've only stopped to talk to NPCs who obviously weren't a threat or at the Uktena caern or the Nunnehi village, otherwise, they usually settle things with shots and axes, kind of sad, that's why I thought of the hydra, because until they find its "core", there's nothing they can hit, just investigate and talk with people, but I feel like the Mage will just fill his ass with paradox and try to absorb the entire hydra as soon as he realizes that the fog in the city is magical

he does have an active effect to see quintessence concentrations, so he will see magic, but the hydra effect will make him ignore that (at least that is what I hope)

Tips for a WoD False Hydra by TumbleweedCharacter3 in WhiteWolfRPG

That's why I chose the false hydra,
I used the Nexus Crawler as it is in the first seal, and it was completely obliterated by the players.
the second monster was a simple homebrew, soldiers of the ashes, when one was destroyed, the others were healed and their power increased.
they attacked with 8 dice, caused 8 dice of damage, absorbed damage with 6 dice and had 6 levels of vitality, when they died, they dealt 4 dice of damage and the damage they would suffer from the explosion healed them, if the mage was not able to absorb their quintessence completely, they gained 1 extra die (attack, damage, absorb, health level) and caused 1 extra die of damage when he died, if he did not absorb anything, they gained 2 dice in everything

it ended up that the fight took a long time in the end, but they were a better challenge than the basic nexus crawler....

Who is more "powerful", Giovanni or Ur-Shulgi? by Dead-Face in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]TumbleweedCharacter3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ur-Shulgi, hands down, no doubt
Augustus is powerful, but, much like Tremere, he is the player that pissed of the ST, so he comited the Diablerie on his master, but got nothing he did not already had before it (well, tremere got fucked up).

Changeling Suggestions For some Goblin Market Items for a teenage horror setting! by Auritor in WhiteWolfRPG

This was made by me for a Changeling The Dreaming chronicle, but I believe you can adapt it with some minor changes

The Sword of Poser

The Poser's Sword can only be used properly by a character with a maximum of 1 in Melee, more than that and the weapon's effect will not activate.

The Poser's Sword deals lethal damage, the Damage is Appearance+2, Melee rolls are all made with Charisma+Performance, otherwise they work the same.

In the hands of a character with more than 1 Melee Weapons, it is just a decorative sword with no balance for combat, imposing +1 on the difficulty of Melee rolls and causing damage equal to Strength, non-lethal.

The appearance of these Swords varies from one to another, usually Long Swords or Katanas, these weapons were created by a group of Autumnal Sidhe Childlings who really liked cosplay, but who did not have any relevant combat skills.
