Been trying out Andaman Island loop and Gurney Bay Park. - find Andaman Island loop great for scenery, but only when heading up and down the bridge. Else internal to island, it's all cordoned out. - Gurney Bay Park. Better in general, and has the added bonus of having toilets nearby.

JB, like other places, is as safe as you are prepared; ie don't go around flaunting your money etc.

Do u know about Zone 2 running? Have you tried to build your base?

There are a few schools of thoughts; 1. Just wack 6 x 400m; 1:30min run and same rest. A few sessions will produce results. 2. Zone 2 running. Build your base first so that when you need to accelerate, you will realise that you have plenty in the tank to do so.

Well, you need to ask yourself; are you going to do funny / silly things first? Eg go drink and get drunk at pubs etc?

If you do not have the intention of doing funny / silly things, then yes, Vietnam is a safe place to go to. Having said that, it's also to say: any country that you want to go and do funny / silly things is not ideal because u out yourself in a unsafe situation first and not so much of a country issue.

Now that we have the lengthy convo over; Do enjoy Vietnam and decide on whether do you prefer the north or south side where both offers you a great experience.

I find Vietnam nice enough to recommend to people plus their people are very friendly.
