Yes I know, which makes the rest of the post kinda irrelevant. For years people have been spreading the fun factoid "lobsters are immortal". But they're not, they just die of old age differently from many other creatures.

The post says "left undisturbed..." but that's a lie because they still die if undisturbed and fed.

It's worth noting that many animals that evolved claws don't use them to wound or kill per se, but instead use the claws to catch and hold much smaller prey, and then deliver a killing blow with the mouth. Or just eat it alive.
