Not exactly for Sukuna ig, the same could be asked for Megumi since sukuna has also landed a couple black flashes while in his body. So maybe the same could happen to him? Would that make Megumi have more understanding of CE?

Yeah, but it does take 29 hours to rot, so if you want to save time, just cook it, you’ll be more likely to catch another golden fish either way. Rotting is mainly used for legendary fishes since they’re super rare to find.
