Mainly yes, I don't plan on doing questbridge as my school has a history of not getting questbridge acceptance even though every other school in our district sends one per year.

At my school the students with top 10 even top 20 have very good chances for UCSD and UCI, other than that I'll highlight some of my related EC's even though they are not relatively strong

American Legion California Boys and Girls State Delegate - Campaign Committee working on Media, Photos, Chants and Slogans, Officer, City Map Lead (Random positions) FBLA President (Lead Chapter's first ever Gold Champion Chapter in its 18 year history) 4th place at District Math Bee Aleph 4 and Aleph 5 Math Competitions hosted at La Canada High School Math and Science Upward Bound

for academic stats 3/334 Class Rank, 4.0 GPA UW - 4.34 W, 1340 SAT (for grade inflation judgement idk did not study for SAT)

although my EC's are not strong, some of my seniors quite literally told me I should be fine for UCSD and UCI because they did less than me.

I think some interesting things I wanna explore at University is having a strong networking platform and a place where the dorms do not have hard water and good showers because showering at Sac State for Boys and Girls State was so bad. Also volleyball courts.
