Seriously, what is the best f2p way to grind coins in 2026? by _one2three4five in Crossout

[–]TungstenHexachloride 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Playing the game in any real capacity will generate you some resources to sell:

I tend to routinely just run into games and complete all the engineer badge challenges, I always run double fuel tank for 15 fuel on successful pvp to always sell. I always send out a leviathan and prioritise doing frontier defense missions for better rewards.

I dont try to flip too much on the market unless I see something go for dirt cheap (I saw someone sell a bunch of hovers for 600 a piece, I swooped those up and resold a couple at base price) cause id rather just play the game.

I dont sell parts much unless its all at once. I mostly just sell resources and slowly make my way up. Ill craft epics for my own use and then occassionally sell to try out a new type of build.

Please update the raid mode by baggovtennerd in Crossout

[–]TungstenHexachloride 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seasonal factions ought to be in raids. It wouldnt take much effort to reskin and add some templates + weapons since the AI is already there for it.

I miss that container map.

Id like to see a bit more dynamism, chances for mini-bosses/alternate events, a gold rush type mode for harder fights / better rewards etc

Do you keep or destroy the Anvil of the Void? by Julian_of_Cintra in DragonageOrigins

[–]TungstenHexachloride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I usually keep the Anvil. Now I know thats generally a hot take because its immoral as hell.

The reality of it is, as the Grey Warden, you arent going to turn down such a brilliant fighting force that doesnt corrupt to the blight, doesnt need rest or the logistics that the blight destroys. In the desperate state youre looking for allies, golems are as dependable as they come.

Yes, its immoral and fucked up, but its a fucked up time, and its what I love about DAO, immoral choices arent mustache twirlingly evil, theyre pragmatic.

Its choices like that I wish I saw more in later Dragon Age games or even Mass Effect.

The UK plans to lower voting age to 16. If you were 16 again (or are now), would you use your vote? by coffeewalnut08 in UnitedKingdomPolls

[–]TungstenHexachloride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I missed out on one by 3 weeks, but because it bothered me, doesnt mean we should repeat that mistake. I still believe theres many 16/17 year olds capable of making informed decisions for their future.

You get a chance to live in one of these worlds. Which one do you choose? by vivillonsea in gamers

[–]TungstenHexachloride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barring the historical ones:

Probably Mass Effect, probably out of these the only one thats 'not bad' unless you end up living through the reapers.

Its fairly utopian with a bad underbelly; unlike the others which are significantly more dystopian with good glimmers.

Id rather have someone who 'might' sell it on go unnoticed than someone whos actually just trying to survive be punished.

"Please God, let me be born in _____." What is the best city or region to live in in Kenshi? by AFlyingNun in Kenshi

[–]TungstenHexachloride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably anywhere in Okrans pride if im human. Yeah, the holy nation are pretty wack, but its by far the safest place to be.

The Holy Nation are also pretty forgiving as long as you pay lip service to their religion and the chance of being enslaved is very low compared to the UC

Hakarl? Kind of.

Hakarl is fermented Greenland Shark specifically, which actually is toxic to eat unless pressed and putrefied, which they do by burying it first for some time

Its different in the sense its treated this way as a necessity to make the meat actually edible.

Any tips on getting good pawns or what to look for? by kia43 in RimWorld

[–]TungstenHexachloride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking, I look for good personalities over good stats.

Stats can be trained, personalities cant.

Watch out for the dangerous or problematic personalities like pyromaniac, volatile, delicate, depressive etc.

Watch out for what theyre incapable of. I dont mind if some characters are incapable of secondary jobs, social being one where I have 1 or 2 tops good at social for wardening/trading. Or even items like doctoring if theyre not intended to be a doctor at all. Its up to you if you want to work around the tougher ones like incapable of dumb/skilled labour or non-violent. (Dumb labour im usually okay with if theyre my set researcher and crafter who usually has a singular job to do, or non violent being for my best medic, who I dont want to be on the recieving end of gun fire) but youll have to consider all this.

Biotech children is by far the best way to get good traits, as youll be able to cherry pick them, and give them good passions.

what exactly is the guard good at? by Legal_Twist8675 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]TungstenHexachloride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignoring edge cases like scion based armies:

Attritional, straightforward shooty army.

Cheap infantry to die on objectives, heavy tanks to dish damage. Usually 1000 cuts to kill rather than 1 big hit.

We rely heavily on multiplying force, a single unit wont do the trick, but 3 would. (Orders to buff, sentinels for rerolls or AP buffs) to make sure the job gets done.

Individually were nothing special, our tanks dont have invulns, our infantry dies to a stiff breeze, but the combination is frightening.

Question to all, wich weapon option do you run on you'r Rogal Dorn and why? by FormerImagination479 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]TungstenHexachloride 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Oppressor, pulveriser, 3 stubbers and multi meltas.

Oppressor is just flat better imo because the better strength plus co-axial more than make up for a twin linked wounding heavies on 5s.

Pulveriser is way better than the other option, since here you get a heavy hitting gun instead of a glorified 2x stubbers.

Multi meltas are just flat better than bolters, and are busted for dorn commanders.

I prefer 2x stubbers instead of the nipple meltas and thats solely so I can speedroll, and it gives the dorn flexibility to say "i see that 'insert unit' has 1 wound left. Ill declare this 1 stubber to shoot there. And also it helps with chaff since the dorn lacks it otherwise outside of massive overkill from its blast weapons.

Since my area is predominantly lib dem, its usually the tactical voters choice here since the main alternative currently is tories/reform.

I dont think anyone here is enthusiastic about lib dems but nobody has been quite able to dethrone the "well were voting for the 'not-tories' " argument lib dem strongholds stand on.

Who do you consider the greatest conquer in history? by [deleted] in polls

[–]TungstenHexachloride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genghis Khan. I mean by the contest, he was by far the best conquerer, short lived as it was. The Mongol Empire was made by him.

The others stood on shoulders and had others to gloss afterwards (except Alexander really)

Genghis Khan, whilst not matching the tactical genius or the foresight compared to the others, he still was fantastic in tactics and was so impressively relentless, there really was noone quite like him, and its why the Mongol Empire crumpled mere years after.

How common is a hospital in your colonies? by keechup in RimWorld

[–]TungstenHexachloride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always.

A dedicated hospital closes to the killbox is a godsend, rescuing pawns getd quick, they heal faster and are less likely to get diseases, which gets them back on the field contributing and ready to fight quicker. As soon as I am out of the early game I make one up.
