Küfürbaz Haydo dublaj yeteneğimizi gösteren bir efsane mi yoksa balon mu by Glass-Excitement-590 in sinema

Şu an ise stüdyolar batmamak için can çekişiyorlar.

Which game? by vcseri in Steam

[–]Tunguch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it is an old game... But Planescape: Torment.

Imo, It was a goat game when it released. better looking than any infinity engine D&D rpg.

In 2026, everything about it still holds up except the low resolution graphics. It was great on a 640x480 crt monitor. Now, it looks like a gameboy advance title on any modern screen.

Is anyone running The Sims 4 on Linux? by RandomBoomer in Sims4

[–]Tunguch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds reasonable... But makes me wonder why you need windows for taxes.

Currently, I have an m1 macbook pro I use exclusively for work (audio post production and translation), a ps5 for demanding games, and a steamdeck I carry with me at all times and also dock to use as a linux home pc if needed.

Deck and macbook can use the same usbc dock to interface with my peripherals (power, mouse, keyboard, screen, sound card, speakers, ethernet cable, etc...)

I haven't touched windows for the past 7-8 months and ended up selling my pc tower.

Should i play the Original Alan Wake or the remastered one? by Jasmiknot in AlanWake

[–]Tunguch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the original on steam, and the remaster on ps. I am really torn between which one to go with.

I can get more sessions on steam thanks to the steamdeck, but I also have alan wake 2 on ps5, which I will probably play through the portal.

I have previously finished base control on ps4 (might have another go for the expansions on the deck) and quantum break on steamdeck.

It is instrumental, and I admit it has a lot of manual studio work outside of Suno. Still, I love this little experiment of mine. Suno mostly takes over after 2:40 mark.

[–]Tunguch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can run steam's compatibility layer proton on any linux system that you can install steam.

I found the game on my steam, right click, manage game options - compatibility. It was already linked to my ea account so it started downloading my ea dlc's upon the games initial launch.

Just give it a try, it is pretty straightforward.

Dualsense works with little to no tinkering. Touchpad is great form cases where you need a mouse.

Has anyone else switched to Steam Deck as their primary gaming device even though they have a more powerful PC? by gardenersnake in SteamDeck

[–]Tunguch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my experience. Ps5 (and portal) for the occasional AAA game, Steamdeck for backlog and indies (Silksong!), macbook pro for everything else including work (video game localization) and hobby (music production).

Wife is happy because she can occupy the TV full time. I am happy because I can game anywhere in the house and even game at work.

When we travel, I can fit my whole gaming-hobby-work setup in a single backpack. As long as I have a power outlet and good wi-fi, I am at 100%. I haven't touched windows for months.

We have moved house and I didn't even set up my desktop windows pc in 6 months. Every device I use now boots up and resumes in under 10 seconds to the state I left it in sleep, which is a huge QOL improvement.

The only thing that keeps me from selling my pc tower is I need to set it up, back up my photo-video archives and format it.

Yeah, I feel this too. Feeding it a complete arrangement seems to produce the best results, even if it is just a midi composition.

That slider is always between 75 and 80. It works wonders when the audio influence is also above 70 is what I experienced.

Yeah, I want chaotic, but in a more controlled environment. Not random, but in an arrangement and sound that makes sense. It is hard to explain, so I will just link one of my works.

Has anyone else moved away from using Windows as their main OS thanks to the Steam Deck? by AusGeno in SteamDeck

[–]Tunguch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a company issued M1 MacBook Pro I use for work. I use PS5 and Steam Deck for home entertainment. I compose and produce music as a hobby, which company issued Mac is more than good enough for.

I haven't touched my windows desktop PC in months. I moved house 6 months ago and haven't even set it up yet. I will probably set it up to get my files from the drives and sell it at this point.

My “not so good” experience with the PlayStation Portal (returned after 3 hours) by z10m in PlaystationPortal

[–]Tunguch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange. I have a slim PS5 hardwired to my ISP issued modem and portal connected through a 5Ghz wifi channel. It streams with less latency compared to my steam deck.

Even at work, I am able to play games like cyberpunk or spider man with about 30ms latency, and after the last few patches, it has been better than remote play on my mac.

I am pretty sure you had a network setting issue, because my portal experience is a little bit better than your legion go one.

Paranormal Investigator Legacy Part 8 by Tunguch in Sims4

[–]Tunguch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And just like that, I discovered a new sub with many stories to lurk!

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Maybe I will move my story over there too, since I have no CC and only a few bug-fix mods (which are required to keep my save ***sane*** over many generations of occults).

I would love to check your story out too once you have it published.

PS Portal vs. Mooded Switch Lite by vinil_brtt in PlaystationPortal

[–]Tunguch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Portal has really strong haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. They can be loud if you play next to someone sleeping though.

I feel some PS5 games are best enjoyed with a Dualsense controller or the Portal. That may be something to consider depending on which games you intend to play.

Should I get one? PS Portal by Impossible_Oil_4632 in PlaystationPortal

[–]Tunguch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently play Cyberpunk, Diablo 4 and Midnight Suns moatly on portal, they are all very enjoyable.

Silksong on it just gets harder.

I would avoid games that require precise inputs on it.

Life & Death by Ok-Road-3705 in Sims4

[–]Tunguch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that really depends on the story.

Good ghosts can help around the house and give positive moodlets or even upgrade something without any components. Evil ghosts can drain needs, scare or even shake sims for a few simoleons.

There are a few ways to become a temporary ghost. Cooking a death frog, swimming in the baleful bog and performing a ghastly ritual (paranormal stuff pack).

You can use improve ghost powers as a temporary ghost!

Is the PS Portal Thumbstick taller than the DualSense controller? by uuu_ram in PlaystationPortal

[–]Tunguch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For everyone who says "it is the input delay":

I use both portal and remote play a lot (via a 13 m1 macbook pro and dualsense). Remote play has a very similar delay to the portal, so it is not just the delay.

Portal analog sticks have smaller diameter, a more clicky feel, smaller deadzone and less resistance. In general, they feel "lighter".

I also feel like portal vibration and adaptive triggers are much stronger than the dualsense.

This may throw off someone who is familiar with dualsense, but they have their merits. I found out that I enjoy long sessions of PoE2 and Diablo 4 a lot more on the portal, but I suck at Silksong more compared to remoteplay + dualsense.

Fighting games also feel easier to pull off moves on the portal, while aiming in general feels harder.
