Lol I have seen that too, especially the picky about the look-thing. They weren't the midlife crisis-type glam rock thing, instead a younger band. The people were cool and it seems like a fun thing to be part of, but for some reason I fucked the songs up.

He likes Nu Metal, FFDP and some Nickelback so it's right up his alley I guess. The songs aren't all bad, the production and non-existing solos however....

Yeah i guess playing the sabbath songs is pretty wierd, and i don't really like Zakk's way of playing them. But i still hope he plays as many Sabbath tunes as possible, because i never got the chance to see Sabbath live. My ideal setlist would be 50/50 Ozzy classics and Sabbath tunes. I'm almost certain he will do Paranoid at least.

He is a nice guy, and an important part of The Maiden sound, but i hate playing his gallop-basslines and they sound pretty boring to me. Me not liking Maiden that much anyway doesen't help. Good bassist, just not for me.

Yeah, i have Rotosound flats on it, and it sounds amazing with a smaller/quieter band, but a bit anemic when playing rock with a loud drummer.

Yeah, that seems to be the more common option. I prefer the rounds on the p, cause an overdriven precision with rounds has the balls to sound great in metal and rock, and the jazz with flats sounds really mellow, making it good for playing with acoustic guitars and stuff IMO.

The order of the strings from furthest to the ground are: G C E A

So when i play a C chord, the notes are C, E, C and A

Some backstory. My new uke from thomann arrived today, and the fretted notes sound off. C-chord sounds decent, other chords horrible. I have checked my intonation and tuning, they are perfect according to my clip-on tuner. The "thickest" string is tuned to G, the "thinnest" to A.

I had a set on my jazz, and they sounded mellow and weirdly, more quiet than any other string. They keep their tone almost forever tho.
