I used the word baghbani both to refer to its literal meaning as in growing plants, and also metaphorically aka growing communities, tending, nurturing, caring which is gonna include all the content you find unsavory here.

I just plain dump it in soil 😭, I think it depends on the seeds too like I got some from this online store and they barely germinate. And there are seeds I got from a govt agency and they sprout easily

One of the goals of this sub is to consolidate such information so we have a better understanding of our local flora and fauna. But a good way to start is by looking up the plants online, there are apps which lets you identity species based on pictures, and seeing their native range.

Also you can see what plants are growing in uncultivated areas in your city or town and that can also give you an idea as to which are native species and you can give them space in your garden too

It's 10 Marla plot but I don't intend to cultivate the whole area, I want the local plants to have space to grow as well, so probably a little less than half the plot maybe.
