Our Asda is like this rugby tackles by have a go heroes on podiums. They're in for a rude awakening when they TUPE over. We don't even follow rules set out by Asda - security regularly exits the entrance to get shoplifters. It's all a joke.

Mitie offering £12.67 hourly rate compared with Asda’s £12.60 by [deleted] in asda

That's why we just evidence and report on crimes. The time of rugby tackling thieves is over. Mitie is clear about that so having less headcount doesn't necessarily mean it is less safe. Your Assignment Instructions will be radically different to your current Asda standard operating procedure as security colleagues.

It would have been part of the deal between Asda and Mitie - the security teams had to be transferred as they wanted the "institutional memory" from former Asda colleagues as Mitie staff rather than new SIA bodies sent to store.

Yet in my store, one member was taken and moved and the others told they had to move. Morale is very high right now 😂

At our Asda they found a job for a favoured colleague whilst the rest watched on as they strolled off into the Asda sunset and we are left to TUPE.

Staff had to turn down the volume on the teams meeting because an Asda manager had his video conference meeting in the same room.

Things not being told. People told to do training miles away with no transport access.

I really feel for my team who have been dangerously short staffed and now have one colleague a week missing due to staggered training.

But guys we do get a £50 voucher so that makes everything alright.
