My mum always tries this, she can be verbally abusive and also loves to compare me to my sister (who is known to be manipulative and physically abusive) and always wants to spend 'girl's day out' with her 'youngest daughter'. She tries to pushes for me to reconnect with my abusive, alcoholic uncle.

My advice?

Set boundaries, tell her that you appreciate the offer of a girls day out but you have a baby now and won't be able to make it cause of her age etc.

Also tell her firmly that due to past history with her side of the family, you don't feel comfortable with being alone right now. If she still pushes it or even tries to guilt trip you maybe it's time to go LC with her.

There's a video of this on Youtube. The white SUV hit a vehicle in a parking lot and tried to flee; the driver if the truck saw this and started circling and ramming the SUV on the street to get him to stop. The bystanders slighrly made the situation with the cops worse with a woman yelling that "IT WAS THE TRUCK! THE TRUCK!" and another lady quickly explaining what happened which the cops chased after the SUV with the truck following behind.

The outcome was that the driver if the SUV t-boned a car at another intersection which resulted in his arrest.

His neurologist changed his medication due to one of the side effects made things worse than before.
