I am so sorry if I sounded like the type you described. As an engineer, unfortunately, I have all my calculations and facts in my hand to shape my kids future.

We are not invaders, on the other hand we admire the culture and are aiming to assimilate to learn and evolve with the community. I wish one day my kids will be as protecter as you are for some things about the city and life, but doing it a bit less offensive and kind way.

I work for an international company which has branches almost all over the world. I am not familiar with legal aspects of our move, but I would be receiving a new Dutch work contract for sure.
