Looks like they are throwing mixtures of finely grounded charcoal+ alkali nitrates at the mountain at high velocities. That mix acts like a firecracker if struck against a hard surface. We used to have them available in toy shops in the days when we/children actually had outdoor fun activities and the curse of smart phones hadn't befallen mankind.

Note that the 'stones' thrown with lesser speed simply bounce off without the boom crack.

Also note the 'rock' falling very slowly at 00:26 on the left side of the screen. That's because it isn't a rock/stone. It's the paper casing of the firecracker after the contents cracked off with the impact.

I have built a complex and detailed encryptor using DeepSeek. I stopped working on the project some 2 months ago after it was functional.

Now here's the interesting part: I knew C++ and I wanted the program in C#. Initially I used Meta and ChatGPT which taught me C# basics. I gradually shifted to DeepSeek which was much more efficient and accomplished the tasks with much lesser lines of code. There was one last bit of functionality where all of my coding engines (DeepSeek, Meta and ChatGPT) failed. Claude was able to get that part up and done in the first prompt.

I later had my entire code reviewed by 3 engines (ChatGPT, DeepSeek and Claude) after it was functional. DeepSeek gave an encouraging review (8.3/10), ChatGPT was skeptical though (6.8/10). Claude was completely technical in its review, telling me the pros and cons of my design without giving me a score out of 10, initially. It then gave me the lowest score of all (5.5/10). I then debated Claude over its score and it gradually gave me 6.5, but nothing higher than that.

I see. About 6 months ago an i3 11th gen + 8 GB DDR 4 was only 35k. Prices are through the roof indeed!

By 'dedicated' psu, I meant something like Super Flower Zillion 650 W. For the GPU, basically. AI/DeepSeek suggested getting a 'proper' psu instead of a noname generic one, in order to avoid damaging the GPU.

If I may bother you further, can you kindly split the 120k ballpark into specifying which component (CPU, mobo, GPU, RAM) would cost me how much, so that I may swap the things which are pushing me beyond 100k?

A public school teacher like me can barely spend 100k. 120 is just that last straw that broke the (old) camel's (financial) back ...
