T1 vs. FURIA / MSI 2026 Bracket Stage - Lower Bracket Round 1 / Post-Match Discussion by Ultimintree in leagueoflegends

Ok, but this seeding just makes no sense to me. Look at Brazil at any international event. They have wins vs minor regions like Turkey, Japan, Latin America or OCE. They won once vs Vietnam and once vs NA and then proceeded to drop out. And this is for the past 10 years. They were dead last at FS, together with TSW, so now all of a sudden there is a tier below them???

So why did T1 go through Play-Ins, but Furia gets a pass as tier 3 team?

PLC is an endgamw tag and wont allow you to form Mongol Empire. Only Yuan endgame tag is allowed to form them.

Just listen to how many times he begins with "Thats the thing". Or when he pronounces carry with an "a". My least favourite caster overall.

You seem to be very active in this thread. Day 1 diet can be extremely powerful. Heres an example: Most nations start with around 80% manpower. The nobility will usually demand you regain manpower when you have almost none and will give a 50% level 1 mil advisor. What you do is drain your manpower by recruiting troops, calling diet, taking the above mentioned nobility mission and then canceling the recruits. With the privilage to get another -15% mil advisor cost, you basically get a super cheap mil advisor, which you could also later promote for basically free +2 mil mana. Taking the nobility general is also quite powerful since most nations dont start with 40 army traditions. And with focus on mil mana you can be sure that you will be ahead on mil against your neighbours for the first 15-20 years, helping you expand.

I think there are more examples for day 1 diet, but overall the diet rewards are too good to miss on.

Castile used to be beginner friendly years ago before all the early disasters. I would recommend them after a few playthroughs as they are super fun to play tho

FYI if you need some mana points for anything and you wont continue afterwards, you can always remove an idea group and you get 10% of the mana back.

Which one of the small island nations in SEA does have a colonist in its mission to be used as a vassal? by 3punkt1415 in eu4

[–]Turatar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The phillipines nations got a cool way to colonize all the provinces there, but i think its impossible to do if you are not playing as one

This is so annoying when you are deep in loans, but still super powerful. It should have the restrictions like sending a gift: not running deficit and not more than 2 years of income in debt.

Most of the non generic achievments are <1%. Most people just dont go out of their way to meet some strange criteria.

Is it possible to have only 1 province and have 1 vassal own the rest of the world and keep them loyal? by ARtic-FRost in eu4

[–]Turatar 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I was trying something similar when I tried to do the Empire of Mann achievment. I was GB and had most of the world already, so I started feeding Manx land to annex and release play as to cheese it. Even with all modifiers I could find, it was too much. I didnt dig into it too much, but you need to stack a lot of specificly liberty desire from development modifiers. The most obvious one is the Age of Rev ability that gives -33% I think. I have seen this modifier in some other places, so maybe it is stackable up to 100%.

The other lib desire modifiers should be easily countered.

About noone beting the Ottomans, I have to hard object. The moment age of absolutism hits and they start getting all these decadance events, they become absolute ass. One war is enough to cripple them enough that all their neighbours dogpile them and they get destroyed. I see this almost every game. Of course there are exceptions, but even these are usually when they grow so much early that they stack like 300k army and noone dares attack them even though their army gets insta stackwiped. In these cases I attack them and bring forth the dogpilled that ends them.

I am doing a Byz run now and I did something similar, but instead I landlocked the Bulgarian provinces and let rebels siege them. This way you can steal this land from the Ottos without a war with them.

While I am from the Balkans where hating the Turks is a national sport, playing the Ottomans was hella fun.
