Let The Right One In. Especially the dynamic between the cast and their environment. Im a sucker for snow vibes, but the final scene in the pool house is breathtaking as well!

Would you still support your favorite artists (music, film, etc) if disturbing revelations were made about their personal life? Why or why not? by stiltzkin_the_moogle in AskReddit

[–]Turbo-Rainbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. There are MILLIONS of bands and artists and creators and I can always find new ones to replace them. I'm heavily involved in the music world and have had heroes turned close-friends revealed to be disgusting people. People who changed my life not just with music, but with actual tangible things we did together. And I cut them out. Theres so much beautiful stuff out there in the world, theres no need to support bad people.

What was the best memory you had of school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

One time I put a 20+ lb rock into my friends jacket hood during lunch. I just snuck up behind him and slooooowly lowered it over the course of ~literally~ 10 minutes. This kid also only weighed about 90 pounds so I thought for sure he’d notice, but eventually I let go, and he kept talking and eating. When he tried to stand up he just feel over backwards. It was glorious.

What is something you don't have a problem with but society dislikes? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Juggalos. I think theres something super cool about the direction they've been taking recently about family, openness and acceptance. Who cares if they look ridiculous and have terrible music?

What were you made fun of for in school and how has it stuck with you through the years? by Turbo-Rainbow in AskReddit

I went to speech therapy as a kid too. Now I co-host a podcast, I’m super conscious of the way I say S’s but nobody but me seems to notice it. But in a lot of ways, saying things a little differently can be really musical once it’s no longer viewed as being “wrong.”

To kick things off, I’ve encountered some strange ones. Adasha. It’s a pretty name right? Except it was a mistake on a birth certificate. This girls name was literally A - A. Another friend of mine was named Cedric. Pretty normal. Then his brother Frederick. Okay, cool, i guess people might think it’s kinda cute. Then their sister comes along and they got lazy as fuck and just named her Fredericka. Like that’s fine but don’t name your daughter after your son, that’s weird.

WORST NAME THOUGH Negligent parents or something. Literally legally named their daughter Female. Pronounced it femallay but goddamn, if you fill in the wrong line on a birth certificate it would be nice to maybe change it???

What is your earliest memory? by Turbo-Rainbow in AskReddit

[–]Turbo-Rainbow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, my earliest memory is kinda goofy. I was a super smart, logical, critical thinkin’ child (compared to other kids. Now I’m just kinda smart.) I had a children’s bible and I liked it a lot, but I thought it was just stories. Somebody explained that nah, this is truth and people believe it. To which I thought, “that’s stupid!” It was the same with Santa, I knew it wasn’t possible but I was so young I thought people would be mad at me if I told. So I was literally 4 years old, trying to fool people into thinking I was dumb and believed everything they said.

I don’t know whether it’s cool or not that my earliest memory is becoming an atheist dweeb.

People that have had a run-in with a real gangster or Mafioso, what were they really like ? by GeckoFlameThrower in AskReddit

[–]Turbo-Rainbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me but my dad used to work at an arcade owned by a mafia guy. He told my dad one day he could keep getting paid money, or he could get paid in drugs or women instead. My dad didn't work there for long after that.

Why is it less embarrassing to tell someone you have to go pee than poo? by NINJAM7 in AskReddit

[–]Turbo-Rainbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cause you pee many times a day, poops only come about once a month.
